I think most of us are familiar with the IKubes from Marcos Hidalgo, www.toposolitario.com/workshop/ikube.htmlThey are so ingenious. I hope Marcos's permissions from years back are still good. He said I could pretty much do whatever, as long as he was credited for the original design. I think I have covered that. Ray at papermodelers.com was looking for bases that would fold flat for transport between events, and I thought the IKube would be an excellent solution, shrinking the walls to 3/4 inch. The first step was to create a blank IKube. I think many folks here would appreciate a blank IKube, so here it is ![](https://i.postimg.cc/RvV9mbth/ikube-blank.png)

I haven't built it yet, but I double-checked my dimensions in GIMP and it looks right. Wish me luck! ![](https://i.postimg.cc/bZxF8sdH/ikube-display-base.png) ![](https://i.postimg.cc/BJQqG5wq/ikube-display-base.png)

Didn't want to do a white build, so did a Venice trachite/istria theme ![](https://i.postimg.cc/wys1bWXw/IMG-20230422-143313724.jpg) ![](https://i.postimg.cc/jLTDZ4Lh/IMG-20230422-143625984.jpg) ![](https://i.postimg.cc/zbWfkyNM/IMG-20230422-143705547.jpg) Should have used thicker card... But the concept works
