Some of you may remember my re-colors of the Warrior Bugs from Starship Troopers to better match my pink terrain. I was mever really too happy with the way they turned out, as they were more magenta than pink and there were a few errors that crept in as well. I also reformatted them to create foldover assembly for the legs, which is slighly less efficient in terms of paper usage (three bugs over two pages instead if two bugs on one page) but will be easier for me to build. I'm not sure I ever shared the revised layout. Anyways, I've learned a lot since I did those, and as a bit of "returning to GIMP" I decided to make them a proper pink instead of the magenta. It took me a while to re-familiarize myself with GIMP (it really has been that ling!) but I was able to finish the color adjustments in just a few hours over a couple of nights. They turned out well, I think. I hope to get to a printshop this weekend and get a few test runs done. Why am I doing this, you might ask? Because a few of the solo games I am tinkering with have rules for them! Also, ignatious has rekindled my papercrafting interest, so he is partially to blame as well. I don't have the pictures yet. I need to do some fine-tuning before I pist them here.
