Just launched is the second Wanderer's Emporium KickStarter for two new sets of their full-colour, full front and back art, heavy cardstock printed, 2D D&D-style fantasy minis. I reported on their previous KS back in December on the CWF here. My mini sets from that KS arrived about a month ago (I'm in the UK, though the minis were coming from the US, so that was pretty good going!), which of course I duly forgot to post about here... The minis are of excellent quality, both as physical products, and in terms of the printed artwork. You don't get enough plastic bases to have every mini in a set out together, but that's a fairly minor point, and the card does seem robust enough to survive multiple rebasings from what I've done with them so far. And you can always buy extra bases, of course. The new KS looks just as promising from the minis, which this time have options for a cloth bag to store them in, and a custom set of dice. You can also pick up copies of the previous sets as add-ons, or in one of the main pledge levels. Costs are very reasonable, although non-US shipping does bump the price up. However, that price also includes taxes such as VAT, so the minis should reach you with no extra charges. The project runs till May 16, so there's plenty of time to make your mind up!

Looks fairly reasonable for the super-thick minis with bases

Thank you for pointing out this KS. Minis looks nice and relatively cheap, but I think the KS will be interesting mainly for D&D Players based in USA that will buy physical product. I'm Italy based and shipping will "kill me". This is the main reason I never bought Joe Nittoly's minis, although I love his style. For the ones who like to print out minis by ourselves, it is less interesting due to the presence of solid competitors, like PaperForge, PrintableHeroes and PaperMage. That said, good luck to the creators!
