Very nice!!!
Is it self-supporting or is there a wrapping paper tube or something in there to help support it?
What an excellent thing to do for your kids.

Lovely! Now I have to see the movie. Chick flick or kids in general?

Nicely done Hackbarth. The interior is well detailed too.

It is built around a thick cardboard tube, like tommygun's tanks and towers.
The movie is good for everyone. Specially the parents of the intended public. Go watch it!
Since it's a project for kids, I intended a simple build, with low detail but the most faithful to the original possible. It was a mix and match of pieces from my collection of models, and it shows.
The interior, in particular was a stroke of luck: browsing for images of the tower back (there aren't any) I found concept art of the paintings Rapunzel does on the inside of the tower! Didn't find the floor of the tower also, but I substituted.
Most of the tower are pieces from Cinderela's and Robin Hood's castles from seite42.de

There is some good stuff over there, but you really have to dig to uncover it sometimes.
It certainly turned out well.
I do have a question ... why didn't you post this in Hackbarth's Projects?

I just found out that I have a sub forum again!
Could a moderator be kind enough to transfer this thread to the proper place?

better late than never!
I spent nearly 2 hours at disneyworld trying to get to Rapunzel's tower before i realized it was just a visual setpiece that wasnt accessable to guests.
