I've tried searching for a Sci-Fi conversion of Song of Blades and Heroes but have come up short. Anybody know of one?

There is a release soon of Flying Lead - a modern version of SoBH where firepower is the focus and not so much melee. This system will most likely form the basis of the Sci-fi version of SoBH which I believe is tentatively planned for the end of the year. But fear not, Flying Lead will give you a very good insight into how it will play - alot of fun. Cheers, Ben.

I could be simply missing the actual question here, but isn't Mutants and Deathray Guns the same system Songs of Blades and Heroes, but in a SciFi setting?

Andrea has discussed doing a full on sci-fi game, but the problem is lack of a background that isn't controlled by a company.
I think the only way to get one made right now is for me to continue to fill out the sci-fi armies and eventually develop my EARTHRISE background. This way there will be figures and a background to build a game on.
I'm looking forward to Flying Lead as well. JIM

Yeah, unlike high fantasy which is generic beyond comparison because its all based roughly on a medieval esque era, sci fi is envisioned completely differently between different IPs and so forth as everyone has a different idea of how the future will develop.
MDRG is a sci-fi ish setting but it is a specific genre of sci fi: post apocalypse, which is a lot more specialized than a generic sci fi would be. I haven't completely read over it quite yet, but it doesnt seem to be as adaptable or customizable are SBH either, though it shouldnt be too difficult to adapt it to one's own needs.
