Here's one of the possible finished looks for the Guild Hall model I'll be releasing soon. (It's the 'lodge' I was referring to in another thread.)

I finished this one last night. Decided not to include any dormer windows. My next set will probably be a taller version of this design, and I'll include some dormer windows like the ones I saw a lot in the Netherlands, with flat sloping roofs.

It feels good to finish another 3 sets this week! Woohoo!

Yeah, I'm not sure how soon I'll be able to release these, since I'm in the process of getting a new business license (delay) before I start up as a new publisher at RPGNow (another delay).

But once I'm all legit, I'm thinking about selling directly from my site at a discount. If I do that, I'll still earn more than what I'm getting after RPGNow's cut. I like the exposure over there, but they take a bigger bite than seems reasonable. I know a fantastic web designer who should be able to put together a gorgeous site for me.

I'm going to give it a month to sort out the business stuff and get new models up for sale. In the meantime, I'll be designing!

I look at this little bit of downtime as a chance to rethink my approach and try some new things. I've got some ideas that should make the layers even more useful while being quicker to load. I think I can get more done with fewer layers.

I'm going to get started on a brothel or an inn tonight, and test out some new stuff.

Well, things didn't work out as well as I'd hoped, so I've decided to do some papercraft designing instead.
