Hi, everyone! I know I haven't been around for a while, but I just wanted to make a quick post stating that I am still alive and kicking. It seems as soon as my life was back in order and I could put more time and money into my hobbies, Existence decided to kick sand in my face and steal my girl, metaphorically speaking. I got in a 3 car fender bender, with my car in the middle and of course got the most damage. I was stopped in traffic and the car behind me didn't stop in time and shoved me into the big SUV in front of me at jsut the right angle to destroy my right headlight assembly and crumple stuff up in that area (the SUV only got a minor scratch on the bumper and the car behind me only got a turn signal knocked loose). Of course, we had recently changed insurance providers and haven't had the chance yet to take the vehicle down to get the required look over for full insurance coverage...

Ouch, I hope things get better for you, GOR. I know things can get pretty messy at times. I'm sure you'll get everything cleared up eventually. Just hang in there!

Hope you are alright!
I can sympathize with you. I was the middle car in a real cruncher on the highway where the speeds were 65+ mph--similar to yours, but we were having to break for the sudden slow down ahead. The guy behind couldn't get his very large pick-up truck to slow down in time, pushing me into the car in front. No one was seriously injured, but 1 of my passengers thought he was too cool for the seatbelt and bounced off of the front passenger seat. Had he been sitting in the middle, I believe he would have fought it out with the front windshield--we were hit that hard.
What really sucked about the whole deal was the fact that I had finished paying for the Honda CR-V just a few months before . . . and now I'm paying for a Mazda Tribute . . . but on a kinda funny note, my girlfriend's XBOX 360 was in the back when we were hit. The impact shot that consol through the back window and bounced it down the highway--the damn thing still works after 2 1/2 years, and I have had to have mine repaired twice!
Anyway, hang in there, things will turn out--just gotta be patience with Life sometimes.
