Here's just one possible configuration you can go with when using the parts in this set. Obviously it's a gateway with tall watch towers on either side. There's a lot more you can do, and as the night goes on I'll be putting together some more graphics that show what's possible. (I can't guarantee they'll be in color. It takes a long time to make these color graphics look any good, and I need to do three or four more sections to show off how to put them together. I'll probably just go with black-and-white wireframe images for the other ones so that it's easy to figure out what you're looking at when reading the instructions.) Anyway, hope you like it.

Gaah! The set looks beautiful, and with a good deal of modularity to boot!

It's definitely a parts kit, with no particular layout in mind. These are all serving suggestions. I'm sure folks who grab this set are going to use these bits in lots of interesting ways. You could combine these with other models and come up with some really cool stuff.
Obviously I can do a lot more with walls and watch towers, and I've already started thinking about a second set that would be compatible with this one. (I'm not fond of expansion sets. I like kits that are complete on their own but will work well when combined with others.)
Anyway, this one's nearly ready to be sent to InDesign for the final stages of layout and writing up the instructions booklet. Look for this one to go on sale maybe as early as Sunday.

Okay, the PDFs are done. Last step is to create the instruction booklet. That'll take a little while. I'll proof-read it and double-check everything, and then zip the whole thing together and get it online -- if not tonight, then early tomorrow morning.
Then I'll descend into post-model depression. Not really. I'm already thinking about what to do next, but I won't commit to anything until I'm actually done with this one.

Finished the first draft of the instructions booklet. Going to take a quick break before proof-reading it. Once I've made any needed corrections, the whole thing gets zipped and uploaded. Should be ready in less than two hours. Yay!

Very nice . Don't know if this is the place for requests i coudn't seem find anywhere else for your stuff ,sorry if its not. Will there any plans to release smaller walls ,a 2" wall would be ideal for creating an enclosed garden area or courtyard to the existing buildings. 1" high field boundry walls ,fences and gates would be most useful. how about a well ? Thanks.

Yes, I would like to release a set of shorter walls eventually. Fat Dragon Games offers some excellent medieval accessories such as wells. Right now I don't think anything I would offer would be an improvement on them. When I have more confidence designing small objects like those, you might see more furnishings from me. For now, I'm happy to work on larger structures and the occasional table or dresser.
