Thanks for all your encouragement! And Pblade, I didn't realize you actually needed a female Goliath bard who plays the pipes, I thought you were just trying to come up with something odd and challenging. Now that I know you actually need the piece I will try to include one in the next set of Imperfect Adventurers. Dryw the Harper Oh, Pblade, does the Goliath have any weapons preferences, and does she have hair? Does she dress like a barbarian (like most Goliaths) or more civilized as a Bard? Just asking.

Yep, our flute-playing Goliath Bard is an actual PC, named Galena. Per her player, she wears her hair long so she isn't confused for a boy, and dresses "practically," but isn't a flamboyant dresser. (She mentioned something like a skirt over leggings, if that helps.) Her weapon of choice is a longsword. The joke among the party is that we always refer to her as a "petite" or "wee" lass, despite her 7'2" height, because her big brother prefers it. ;D Thanks for considering this - I'm sure it's the only way a mini anywhere close to the character would come to be. -Pb

Great figures, Dryw! And yep, those are the Goliaths that I meant - which means you can see why the odds of finding a mini that comes close to the character is almost hopeless. At least it isn't *my* PC. "Petite Flower" (all 7'1" of her) is happily proving that the Bard class has been rendered useful again. And watching the locals in the Inn realize her size when she stands up is always amusing. -Pb I had a young lady as a student from 7th grade to her senior year who was like that. She was of scandahoovian extraction, very tall and very blond. She was normally a very mild looking person, sitting there quietly with a sedate smile on her face. But she was the only girl admitted to the boys whacking each other sticks club, and she could beat them all, separately or together, with the mildest, sedate smile on her face the whole time. Of course she had grown up with two older brothers, both even taller than she was. Have fun! Steve

I've finished the front and back inking of the Goliath Bard (still has to be colored) and she will be in the next Imperfect Adventurers set along with a Dwarf Fighter, a Tiefling Sorcerer, a female Ranger, a human Fighter with Axe, a Druid, a Martial Artist Monk, an Elven Swashbuckler, and a human Rouge. Oh, and my wife that waves the magic wand and turns these things into PDFs is a 6'3" blond from Germany, so I have personal experience with this type of concept. Dryw the Harper On a side note, this weekend I found a need for some members of a Desert Clan of Hassassins (professional assassins) in my game and did up a quick few figures. I wasn't going to bother posting them but my wife thought I should so it will probably post in the Desert Folk thread later today. A warning, some are simply duplicated on the page because I only needed a Master Assassin and 4 normal Assassins and they don't nearly fill the page so I duplicated the 4 normal Assassins to fill things out.

May I ask what you use to color these?
Cheers,

Hey Dryw, nice minis =D If you are looking into making another set it would be cool if you could make the elvish party my players are going to face in the future. They are all sun elves, so they are all blonde. It's formed by a witch, a fighter, a scout (a sort of archer with a little rogue in it, specialized in skirmishes) and a sorcerer. Those are evil elves that follow the fey'ri (sun elves that have their blood tainted for crossbreeding with demons) and believe that by breeding with demons they can make a pure and superior races. If you want really to be good to me you can also make some fey'ri. Those are some pics of them: images2.wikia.nocookie.net/forgottenrealms/images/thumb/f/fe/Fey%27ri.jpg/250px-Fey%27ri.jpgimages6.fotoalbum.virgilio.it/v/www1-6/169/169013/287671/FeyRi-vi.jpgOr even some orcs and tanarukks (powerful orcs that also have demon blood and are used as the fey'ri shock troops): forgottenrealms.wikia.com/wiki/File:Tanarukk.jpgEdit: BTW, no need to draw any wing, i'll resize and recolor the 2.5d ones from the succubus and balrog here in the forums post them for use.

super dry. A great adventurer set. Your figures are really excellent. The best I like is the swashbuckler. He has a certain 16th cent. look with his puff sleeves. I would wish there where more paper minis on onemonk with such a great fashion - big coloured feather hats including.

These are great!! Thanks soo much for the Bard, I'm sure the unveiling will be well received. ;D
I had a few of the Nighthunderchmen with me at our last session to show people, and they all agreed that the figures are terrific.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Tabris: Take a look at the Desert Elves in the Desert Oddities, they might do for your party of Sun Elves as you described them.
Enpeze: I take it you've already gone through the Imperfect Swashbuckler set under the Drywtheharper Projects?
Pblade: I hope the figure does well for your "Petite Flower." I think I'll add the occasional requested figure into Imperfect Adventurers as I go along (unless the request fits better into one of the other headings).
My next project is a patrol of actual Soldiers (chain mail, tabards, shields, assorted weapons) for manning castle walls or patrolling the countryside. It is about a third of the way towards completion.

Hopefully the riding and/or warhorses that Xtea is working on will work with these. That way we can make up mounted patrols. Cheers,

First question, I draw them at twice the normal size and then shrink them down (60mm to eyeline instead of 30mm to start with). Second, I will include some Soldiers with dark hair, but I find black hair tends to blend with the cutting lines (which is too bad since I have a Black-haired NPC). I'll see what I can do. Dryw the Harper. (Six soldiers done, four more soldiers, a sargent, and a captain to go)

In comic books, black hairs are drawn with blue "reflections"... maybe you can outline the hairs this way.... just a though, i'm not at all an artist.

So, as i think i'm doing myself all those minis for the evil elvish party them would like a different request. This is a simples one, a young bard with short hair and who players a harp. He is sort of the "fifth beatle" to my adventure party, he helps them, is member of the same organization the ranger is and also he makes ballads from their exploits (my campaign journal is written from his perspective).

Parduz, I just did a couple of the upcoming Imperfect Soldiers with dark hair, I'll have to see how they print out. Tabris, What color short hair does the Harper have? I've actually done a number of harpers, though they tend to have long hair. Any particular colors worn by your harper? Dryw the Harper

His organization (Named, The Harpers ) colors are dark night sky-like blue and white/silver as seem in their symbol: images4.wikia.nocookie.net/forgottenrealms/images/6/69/Harpers_symbol.jpg (Which i leave for you the decision to put in the figure or not.)

9 Soldiers done, the front ink done on the remaining Soldier, the Sargent, and the Captain. This will be a set of 12 figures when it is complete.

Tabris, you will have to wait for the next set of Adventurers for the Harper figure.

COMING SOON... ADVENTURERS 5 An odd collection of brave and bold men and women looking for fame and fortune. ADVENTURERS 5. This set of eight Adventurers includes a human Bard with a Harp (for Tabris), a male Swashbuckler and a female Swashbuckler (for those wanting a more 16th century feel), a Martial Artist Monk with a Stave (for Parduz, look, another monk), a human Barbarian with a two-handed Great Axe, an Amazon Warrior, a Goliath Barbarian with two-handed Hammer (for Pblade's female Goliath Bard to have a companion in the future), and a Tiefling Sorceress (for the Tiefling fans). The set is entirely drawn up and colored, it still needs to be scanned in, laid out, and then turned into a PDF, but its getting late. Perhaps tomorrow. Dryw the Harper

LOL! That extra goliath will be appreciated...and I see I'll have to get with my co-DM for some plotting. ;D Our bard's big brother favors a greataxe at the moment. I'm sure we can entice him to see the merits of a maul, though. I'm looking forward to seeing your swashbuckler, too. As someone that has actually done a bit of swordplay in a Renaissance troupe and played in the SCA, those are always of interest. Your previous ones were excellent. -Pb
