NOW HERE... ADVENTURERS 5 An odd collection of brave and bold men and women looking for fame and fortune. ADVENTURERS 5. This set of eight Adventurers includes a human Bard with a Harp (for Tabris), a male Swashbuckler and a female Swashbuckler (for those wanting a more 16th century feel), a Martial Artist Monk with a Stave (for Parduz, look, another monk), a human Barbarian with a two-handed Great Axe, an Amazon Warrior, a Goliath Barbarian with two-handed Hammer (for Pblade's female Goliath Bard to have a companion in the future), and a Tiefling Sorceress (for the Tiefling fans). www.4shared.com/document/lPoREbHu/Adventurers_5.htmlHave Fun, Dryw the Harper

LOL at the arrow on the Hammer ;D ;D
I'm just back from a nice, hilarious, D&D session, where we learnt that the great, fat, rich mage that is paying us... is not a mage at all!!! That leads me to give you some "suggestion" (just as inspiring things, they're not request) about "really" imperfect adventurers: - A fat, sweaty, bald, rich dressed man - A wannabe warrior (think to Don Chishotte... skinny, glaringly unable to fight) - a wannabe archer (with glasses and a untighten bow with foliage growing...) - a thief dwarf, on tiptoe in fullplate ..well, you get it.
THANKS for the monk! Many thanks!

I really liked that bard, it really makes the character i created stand out as unique. And to think i almost abandoned this campaign because of a player's complaining...

He's also the first black-haired character I did using the "blue outline" technique like in the Superman comics (as was suggested). I thought it came out pretty well and opens things up to more "black-haired" characters. Dryw the Harper Oh, and there is another Bard with a lute dressed in Harper Blue and Grays (silvers) in an earlier Imperfect Adventuerer set, so they can now have secret society meetings.

Dryw, I've already had my share of requests, but if you're casting around for ideas, what about some more female dwarfs: ranger, fighter or rogue?
Cheers,

You know, I must have b'jillions of metal figures over my three decades of gaming, but I don't recall a single female Dwarf figure during all that time. Next set of Imperfect Adventurers will have another female Dwarf (don't know what type yet). Right now I'm still working on my set of Imperfect Nobles (kings, queens, counts, barons, ladies... of various types). Six done, three more inked, and three more not even sketched out yet. Yes, decent 3D minis of female dwarfs are hard to come by. There are a number of female fighter type dwarves, but I've yet to find a decent looking cleric or ranger. Looking forward to the nobles Cheers,

Dryw the Harper yeah female dwarves are hare to find,Also try finding female(or male for that matter) Gnomes. The only images I have found on the net of female gnome charecters are the "lawn Gnome" variety. If you ever delve into demi-humans a female Gnome Illusionist type would be really useful to my party.

So according to all of you the next set should be Imperfect Short People? Dryw the Harper Now that you say it, that sounds like a great idea: Gnomes, Halfings and Dwarfs of various classes, with a decent number of females in the mix. We've already got a number of male dwarfs after all.

Hi, Dryw.
I just tried a few prints of Imperfect Adventurers 3. They all came out kind of reddish and dark. So I had a look at the actual pdf and it too is somewhat dark and reddish. Is the original like this? If not, maybe you could rescan it. Otherwise, I'll see if I can play with the color and contrast a bit in Adobe.
cheers,

Just printed a copy of Adventurers 3 from the download site. It is a little off-color from the original. I'll try to scan it in and adjust the colors and repost it in a bit (my wife has to do the most of it). Funny thing is that for me, the red seems washed out compared to the original. Dryw the Harper

Afet, Tried to rescan, but it printed out worse than the first one. Neither actually match the original. In the original the robes of the Sorcerer are a violet with purple shading. The Female Cleric's yoke and belt are red. The Tieflings' skin is a slightly darker orange. The Warrior's tabard is a bright green.
If you want to play around, I'd be happy to see what you can do with the colors.

First off, I want to say I love your stuff! I stumbled across the soldiers somewhere on the internet. Then I found out you have a whole bunch more great stuff.
I wonder if I'm doing something wrong. I click on the links provided and this message appears:
The file link that you requested is not valid.
Have these been removed or am I missing a step?

You're right, the links don't work anymore. I don't know why. I'm going to have to check things out.

I just wanted to say that I printed a bunch of your stuff out via FedEx, and I am an instant fan! The goliath in adventurers set 5 is perfect for my current 4e dnd character (tehcnically my char is a bugbear, but a tall inhuman thing with a big hammer is a pretty close depiction otherwise).

I know, but the model is a bit big from what I remember, and I am too lazy to extract, edit, and then bundle together with other models to save on print costs.

Thanks for getting those links worked out Dryw the Harper! As i suspected, I love all of your stuff. I spent the better part of last night downloading EVERYTHING.
We like to have colored figs for the minis but now I will crop everything down and suck the color from them in my paint program for the character sheet pics. We like to keep that old school black and white feel for the character sheets.
A couple of questions. I noticed a few Tieflings, have you ever tried your hand at Dragonborn? Or would they fall under your "I make terrible monsters" claim?
Also have you ever thought of making D and D Legends? My best friends daughter wants to bring back the legend of Morgan Ironwolf (from my terribly beat-up red box basic book) so she needs a Blonde fighter with a sword and shield in a chainmail shirt and short skirt.
Anyway, love your stuff and thanks for taking the time to share you work with everyone.
