NOW HERE... IMPERFECT SHIP'S CREW The smell of the salt air, the feel of the spray of the ocean against your face, the sound of the wind in the sails. It is one thing to make a living working the dock side (see Imperfect Dock Side) of a city or town, and quite another to actually set sail and head out to sea. This set of 12 figures contains a full crew for manning a mid-sized merchant vessel, or enough sailors for several smaller vessels. It includes an experienced Ship's Captain, his First Officer, a Ship's Surgeon, a Boson's Mate, and eight Sailors (including one with a peg-leg). www.4shared.com/document/wJG1IOrf/Ships_Crew.htmlNOW HERE... IMPERFECT SHIP'S CREW 2 Filling out the crew and adding a more "Fantasy" feel, this expansion of the Ship's Crew adds 10 new members including a Ship's Wind Mage, an Elven Sailor, a Dwarven Ship's Carpenter, a Half-Orc Harpoonist, two Sailors armed with Bows and Flaming Arrows, a Sailor with Grappling Hook (for boarding), a Halfling Cabin Boy (with eye-patch), a Human Harpoonist, and a Dwarf armed with a hand-held cannon (to repel boarders). www.4shared.com/document/p0LM8HPB/Ships_Crew_2.htmlNOW HERE... IMPERFECT SHIP'S CREW 3 - PIRATES Aye, ye scurvy dogs, me Imperfect Pirates are here at last. Batten the hatches, hoist the sales, and beware. There be Pirates in these here waters. This set includes a Pirate Captain, a Pirate Mate, a Pirate Lady, a Dwarf Pirate, a 1/2 Orc Pirate, and three Pirate Crewmen. www.4shared.com/document/nu-9oPfo/Imperfect_Ships_Crew_3.htmlAs always, use these Sea-Going Cargo Transfer Specialists responsibly. Dryw, you are astoundingly productive Do you realize that you have produced over 500 unique NPC minis? You have made a marvelous contribution to gaming. This is yet another beautiful, whimsical and useful set of minis. Cheers,

Thanks. And thanks to Jim here at OneMonk for posting all the useful tutorials, I re-did most of my minis after learning things here. ;D The purpose of Imperfect People has always been to give other gamers the horde of background folk I always seemed to need for my games. You really owe thanks to my wife who convinced me to post them and share them with others when I didn't think they were good enough (and its her "magic" that turns them into PDFs). Dryw the Harper

Any possibility of some Imperfect Fishermen? -Tall, pot-bellied German Captain with dark curly hair and strangely spindly legs but really big hands. -Germanic crewman, bald, tall, strong, grey hair,...clueless look... -short scrappy deck worker with a beard and a bad attitude -small and slender native guide with bowlegs that work fine on a ship but can't walk a straight line on land -tall, thin, wimpy land-lubber who should have never set foot on a boat, numerous knife wounds in his slender hands -tall, dark, goatee and bandanna wearing crewman who is contemplating throwing the land-lubber overboard... Just some character thoughts for the future...

I must agree, it's amazing how much you've put out so quickly. Towns & villages have never looked better, or more alive. You, sir, have most definitely earned both a tip o' the hat & a round at the pub. (And I'll happily include your fair lady in the bargain - I know well the value of the one in back pushing.) -Pb

You Sir, are a machine. No normal human can crank out figures like this, CYLON!!!
All kidding aside ,these are fantastic, and really add options for gamers, and has motivated me to finish my fantasy villager stuff as well! I'll have to design some more monsters to devour your NPC's... JIM

First, Thanks Jim. I'm glad folk seem to like the various Imperfect People. As you have guessed, yes I am a Cylon, but that doesn't make me a bad person (or robot). I look forward to more monsters. As for my next project, I'll be doing a Fantasy add-on to the Imperfect Ship's Crew. This will include an Elven sailor, Ship's Archers (with flaming arrows), a Ship's Wind Mage (for filling the sails...), a Dwarven Ship's Carpenter, and a few other oddities like a Half-Orc Harpoonist. The Ship's Crew 2 Expansion Pack will include the following 10 figures: Dwarven Ship's Carpenter with tools Harpoonist Half-Orc Harpoonist Ship's Archer with Flaming Arrows Ship's Archer with Flaming Arrows 2 (yes, there are two of them) Dwarf with Hand Cannon (advanced Dwarven technology) Sailor with Grapple and Rope (for bording purposes) Halfling Cabin Boy with tray of goblets and a pitcher of rum(?) Elven Sailor armed for bording Wind Mage for filling the sails when there is no breeze Front ink is done for all of them, still have to do backs, get them colored... Dryw the Harper Oh, and for Squirmydad perhaps I'll do some more fisher folk (look at the Imperfect Dock Side for a few already done) to crew a fishing boat.

Great set (as all of them have been so far) Now these brave crewmen only need a crew of pirates to fight against (and maybe some marines and other military ship crew to help them if they have trouble defending against the pirate raiders) /Cobra

Ya think you can make the next half orc female? They are not as buff (Which would be GREAT for sailing in my opinion) plus it could help with anyone's collection.

Too late for the Harpoonist (already done and colored), but I suppose I could try my hand at a Female Half-Orc. There just hasn't been much of a demand for one up until now. I suppose most female gamers don't like to play Half-Orcs, though in my original D&D campaign back in the late-70s to early-80s two of my players (a boyfriend and girlfriend) played a pair of Half-Orcs. Oh GOOOODNESS, don't get me started on the high demand of Half-orcs.. In my locals, Half-Orcs is the only thing people pick! I don't know why to be honest, but they do have an interesting background, with the different types of half-orc (One blood and two blood half-orcs.), and with the new D&D adventures, tough but strategic characters are what save the day. I found a cool little link on some Half-Orc history if you're interested in it's lore. www.worldofcharun.net/index.php?title=Half_OrcBut anyways, yes, please consider it It would surely help.

(igitt, imagine that! ) Regarding your "Sea-Going Cargo Transfer Specialists". A set of these would be aboslutely great if you find some time in the future. Ship's Crew 2 is colored, and laid out, it simply has to be magicked into a PDF and it will posted at the top of the thread. Dryw the Harper And then perhaps some Sea-Going Cargo Transfer Specialists. (Where's the emoticon with an eye-patch when you need it?)

YO HO, YO HO, Is there a sea breeze? Fine fat merchant ships in need of plunder (such as the Incognito over at Fat Dragon)? A need for sea-going cargo transfer specialists? Is that a skull and crossbones on the horizon? Due to the fine work of Fat Dragon Tom and Afet, I've been forced to take a day to rebuild my improvised light-board, and forced to revamp an ancient scanner since mine died months ago. I have now finished inking the long-missing backs of my eight Pirates for an Imperfect Ship's Crew Expansion pack. As of now, I've even finished coloring them and laying them out. Now they just have to be magicked into a PDF file, and eventually posted. The set will include the following: A Pirate Captain (complete with peg-leg) A Pirate First Mate (Dashing-type) A Pirate Dwarf A Pirate Lady A Pirate 1/2 Orc and 3 Pirate Crewmen YO HO, YO HO, a pirate's life for me! ;D Dryw the Harper (See what you made me do, Afet. You and Tom over at Fat Dragon are just plain evil)

My Pirates are being thwarted by technology. With no good printer or scanner left for my ancient arcane Mac, I am being forced to learn Windows7 and some whole new programs to get things done. On the bright side, they should be sharper and brighter colored than before. Dryw the Harper
