Here's the first test of my latest model, the Ruined Wall. That chimney takes a bit of work to assemble, but it's a fairly complex shape and should look nice and smashed once I've skinned it. I'm going to add a few diagonal beams to the final build so that the walls can have a "propped up" look. This model fits on 3 pages, which should be a breeze compared to the Wrecked House that I just got into the shop. I'm expecting to publish this new model in the next two or three days.

looks good Dave, but I thought it was going to be ruined sections for the town wall set!

Oh! Yikes, I don't know about those. Doing ruined 1/4" thick walls makes my head hurt. All of those connecting tabs for jagged lines... eek.
But it wouldn't be too difficult to come up with some general-purpose ruined walls that were just 2 sheets of cardstock back-to-back. It'd be easy enough to slip a sheet of foamcore in between those.
I'll think about doing something like that.

We've had to start playing Mordheim again because of you! Brilliant models, they fill a real gap in the market.

While I haven't started yet, I do have plans on introducing my son (and others) to Mordheim sometime this year and your buildings are my inspiration.

I would like to see a photo of a ruined village sometime - showing all the ruined models. You might want to make it a bundle too - I could see people wanting all the ruined buildings.

At some point I'll definitely create a Ruins Bundle that will be available through Wargame Vault / RPGNow / DriveThruRPG. (As far as I can tell, Ecardmodels doesn't have a nifty system for bundling.) I also have the option of burning everything onto a CD-ROM and shipping those, but I haven't had any requests for physical CDs so I'm in no hurry to start selling those.
Honestly, photos of a full ruined village aren't likely to happen any time soon. (At least, not from me. Someone who collects my models might be taking photos as we speak.)
The reason for that is because all of my final builds are done in black-and-white, and using Photoshop I lay the actual art layers over the photos. My advert graphics are correct in terms of perspective and color, but they're not photos.
Doing the advert graphics that way lets me control the shading and avoid blurring that would come with real photos, and avoids the problems that come with color printing -- specifically, that no two types of printers print exactly the same color. I want people to be able to see the colors and details as intended, without any photographic distortion.
The downside is that it takes a lot of work to create those graphics, but I think the results are worth it.
However, I now have enough ruined buildings that I can really start to do some fun layouts with them. If I'm ever feeling particularly masochistic, I might just create one of those full-color scenes "the hard way."

I am waiting for all models to be released, and then I will send photo of my ruined town. It will combine models produced by Dave with old ruines from Wizards of the coast and some buildings from other suppliers turned into ruines with some precize scizors cut...
