Here is the final pencil sketch for my newest mini. Just the front. Time to get going on the back and get it inked.

Very nice. I like the pose and weapons. The only thing I'd suggest is to narrow the waist area to make it look more feminine, not curvy enough! JIM Oh, and thin up the arms, again, too manly.

I second that there aren't enough girl minis!
This is looking good. Reminds me of Castlevania...

I may have jumped the gun on inking this one, before reading this advice. Don’t think I don’t appreciate the feedback though…Don’t worry, I’ve still got one more female miniature to do for this faction, I’ll make sure it’s got curves.

Here's the draft for the other mini I was mentioning, definitely more feminine, I'm not sure I'm 100% happy with the pose though.

I think this one looks pretty good. About the only thing I'd do different is pose her legs so one is not behind the other, but it will fine as is. There is a definite improvement of body shapes and form here, nice arm, leg and body lines, looks a lot more natural. Which reminds me I need to get back to the drawing table as well and fix my rusty drawing techniques myself... JIM

I think you are right about the legs. Here is version 2, with a wider stance.

That looks great!
Good reference materiel never hurts, I know I have hundreds of reference photos of people for poses and to get the muscle and limb shapes right. I like the proportions and stance. This will look great inked and colored up. JIM
