I've found some very simple ones on the net but nothing near the quality I have seen here.there are a few pay sets available but not much in the way of a preview so I know what I'm getting. As I'm dirt poor I'd prefer free but links to any Cowboys,Indians, gunslingers, ranchers etc and cavalry from the wild west genre would be greatly appreciated.

the garters and gunbelt figures were what got me thinking about wildwest, unfortunatly it looks like that project is dead...or on long term hold.

Ok, here's what I have done so far... these are just the beginning ink. Eventually, I hope to have several... er... Posse's (?) of figures, with hero types etc... we'll see how it works out. Damn this day-job that keeps eating up all my time.

Any chance you make make some of these with steam-punk accesories, as well?

Sure, I'll make up some Steampunk stuff. I've been reading lots of Girl Genius comics lately. I'm gonna have to put it on the list though. This is taking a pretty long time to learn, it would help if Inkscape didn't crash constantly. I finished a few, they have a few warts though. Honestly, since 90% of the art I've done for the last 10 years is in people's skin, its fun to be able to make mistakes. Or just not have to have EVERYTHING perfect. The biggest issue I'm having currently is scaling the images. They're HUGE! dl.dropbox.com/u/13307512/pistoloutlawsrev1a.pngdl.dropbox.com/u/13307512/riflemen1rev2masked.pngdl.dropbox.com/u/13307512/rifleoutlaws1.pngGo take a look, feel free to re-scale them... I'd love for someone to show me what I'm doing wrong. I'm sure its something simple.

I'm sure its something simple. I'm learning myself, but is your image size set to 8.5 x 11 inches? You may also need to set scaling on for your printer. The margin settings can also cause problems.

Figured out how to get the scale right, finally. I built the first 3 last night, they have alignment issues, so I'll be re-doing those. I was pretty unhappy with the back of the first one anyway. The dusters look pretty good except for that back. I wound up having my GF take a picture of my back with my duster on to get the right look... After I had already done that one. I'm learning a lot doing this.

Hi everyone. Don't want to hijack the thread but I too have been try to find good western minis. I've recently discovered Whitewash City and yes, I know it's been around for ages but, better late than never! Anyway, sadly, after finding this thread and thinking I've stuck GOLD! (pun intended) imagine my disappointment at dicovering that I can't see any of the images Also, does anyone know if Ghostgirl ever finished her western projects and if so how do I get hold of them? I realise that I'm being a tad demanding considering that this is my first post an' all but, as my mum used to say, ''if you don't ask you don't get'' ;D Please help. Dave 'BigDog'
