It won't be long now. I have one figure to finish and, with any luck, it'll be done in a few days. I'll post it as soon as I finish.

Superb set, it's a full army in one go and with their own style... there's nothing else like this about.

Really, really well-done set. Very clear design, great poses, enough variety for a whole army and a definite old-school-flair (Warhammer Orc plastics, or am I remembering something wrong ?). I like them very much.

The army really turned out nice! The vector style really does look great at 15mm scale.
To make the heads pop out from the body, you need to make the clothing or body right behind and under the head much darker, this will make the face brighter and more noticeable from a distance instead of blending together.
The great thing about this style of figure design is that you can adapt it to any race or army, it's just a matter of creating the parts and positioning them.
I would like to see you try a 2.5D orc catapult, I think you'll enjoy the challenge. JIM

Has anyone tried these out yet? What do you think? If anyone has I'd love to see some pics.
I've been percolating on how to do a catapult for a while now and have a few ideas that could work, I also have an idea brewing for a five headed hydra as well. I'm waiting till I get through my dwarves then I'll be working on those.

They stand out really well on the table. Clearly defined troop types even across an eight foot table Excellent stuff. Waiting for a new camera or I'd get some shots.

Got a pic of the whole army. Kind of a crappy pic, but I really like the way they all look together. I might be a bit bias though.

Chomp, chomp, chomp!
I am going to incorporate these with Jose's orcs. Two great artists... or should I quote the candybar's tagline: two great taste that taste great together!

It was Ken's orcs that got me thinking about what was possible with vectors and now I love the whole thing, I'm trying to make things he hasn't done yet so between us there will be a full range of orcs for a certain fantasy battle game , that's why I went with 'Wild orcs' and 'deep goblins' (as opposed to proper orcs and forest goblins like Ken's) I love the regimental look of 15mm and Ken's figures remind me so much of the minis I first bought when I fell in love with wargaming.

My post doesn't seem to make sense... Labrat had a post that said everyone was chomping at the bit on this... hence my "Chomp, chomp, chomp." I am not sure what happened... either he deleted hi post, or my phone threw me into another thread... I really have got to get the internet at my house...

It took me awhile but I got the first color done. ;D I've printed it out and I think it looks pretty good, but then I've been staring at it for at least 12 hours over the last two days. I may bump the green up to a brighter color. What do you guys think? This charming fellow has been added to the CWF compilation #2 in the Member Artist downloads area; www.onemonk.com/guest-dl.html
