Robot

Robot are not my favourite theme, i like fantasy, but i must try to explore other ways. Here is a try to make a robot, i´ll try to finish (lately i don´t finish any project that i have started) to this hoard. If i see you like it i will continue with the mini.

i´ll try to do diferent colors, i don´t define it but i think silver, a grey that look like opaque metal, some military colors and i love the tommygun abc robot color. I hope to have the time to finish it. THANKS YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR COMMENTS

The Factory has completed the first series production of AT286 robots, they are prototypes and are not painted yet but here is a pic. I hope you like it:



The separation between the torso and arms and legs will be corrected when i put the color

Very nice!
The only thing i don't like are the feet: too tight.
Then the 2nd, but to a very lesser degree, is the "straight" profile of the internal thigh.

What's the scale? are they human sized, sort of power armors, or giant mechs?

I might have something done to submit if I can just lock myself to one & finish it Instead of working across 30 different projects at once like I have been.Thought it helps that I'm off work till the 27th ,but the urge to go play in the arcade is strong so I might lose a day or two there

Parduz: Can you make me a simply diagram of how do you imagine the feet? i´ll try to make another version. They are human sized may be a little taller.

Sirrob: I don´t know if i undertand very well or it is a joke but if you want to submit some parts like arms to the robots it´ll be welcome and i will try to add it to the AT286.

Why not do multiples of the same unit Just change the wire color for each model or if you do a full sheet of different poses add multiple layers one for each color of wire.If you dont have the program to do multilayer pdf just do the whole thing as a multilayer xcf or psd & I can convert it to pdf for you

I agree with DeathDragon! I say do ones with red and blue, and so forth... on color per robot. I use colors like that to divide my armies into squads, and ones with red wires would be one squad, blue would be another, and so on.

I only finished four, it´s better than nothing , I sent it to sirrob. Now i got a little more of time to finish the other two robots. I only use brown to the wires because i had no time to make it in variuos colors. The AT286 will see the light with the December hoard just wait ;D

I know you have moved on from this project, but if you still have the vectors, and some time, do you think you could make a few. Of these with the arms to the sides (like a letter "L")?

I prefer 2.5D models, when possible, and if you did this (similar to the one on the bottom right in the picture of about 10 of them) I would LOVE it. Some with the flame-throwers and some of the regular guns, please!
