This may have already been posted but I was just chatting to someone on email who was short of HeroQuest furniture (prompted by my own experiments into box-style scenery) Furniture and scenery in the HeroQuest game consisted of doors, shelves, chests, fireplaces and torture racks. Being a Warhammer Quest kind of guy - I am less familiar with these "searchable" luxuries. Now, I don't know whether or not 0one's Venture board game is an HQ clone, but the printable scenery looks very similar, and this expansion pack could also a real boost to a starting DM playing DnD/any FRPG. $5 USD VentureĀ© - Paper Models and Miniatures on RPGNowI haven't bought a copy yet, but I'm very tempted because I'm fascinated by trying to keep 3D model scenery as simple as possible in my own designs. (The whole game is here: Venture Boardgame (PDFs) $19 - again I'm tempted but I can't afford the printer ink!)

Looking at the pics I just remembered that I owned the game one... Maybe I still do, I need to make a note to go look for it around here... I'll also take a closer look at the product .

Looking at the original HQ scenery, I'm really drawn to the weapons rack (nothing similar appears to be in the Venture set) I've tried to draw a few from above, but they are quite a challenge, perspective wise.

Sorry about resurrecting a super old thread but what's the verdict on this game? I ran across it in my web surfing and thought it looked interesting. Low and behold it has been mentioned already on the forum. Has anyone played it yet?

From BGG seems a loved game from the owners, which are not so much. The fact that GiochiUniti want to produce it officially can mean something.
I'm a bit done with HeroQuest-like dungeon crawler, (even Descent don't appeal me so much) so i passed, but i'm curious too about how good it is.

Well, I know this... In one of the Hoards, (maybe 81) Jabbro Jones created a BUNCH of figures that look like the Hero Quest figures (I mean the heroes and everything).
Just my chime in.

Jabbro's stuff is how i "completed" my HQ collection, the expansions run a little much on ebay.
Is the scale the same for this stuff as the HQ furniture?
