Please move to a different board if it's inappropriate to post this here. I'm selling some second hand Fighting Fantasy gamebooks on Ebay and Amazon. I've mainly been collecting the books from the 80's and a few that were acquired recently are doubles of ones I already have so I'm selling them on. shop.ebay.co.uk/billiam_babble/m.htmlwww.amazon.co.uk/shops/A38QZTZIW3WKQD(remember that the Amazon prices do not include shipping - which Amazon decides upon) I won't list the titles here because they might be changing over the next few weeks, also if the ebay page returns nothing it's because I'll be in the process of re-listing (check back later etc.). I'm based in the UK but will happily post worldwide (just for fun!). Testing Luck ...

I've shamelessly modeled my homebrew character sheets on the ones found in FF books.
Good luck with the sale.

It has to be done! ;D I used to be disappointed that D&D character sheets weren't more scroll like. I put some more on Ebay last night - some went very fast. I may have to dig out someone duplicate copies I have of a few Lone Wolf books and add them.

My heart is sobbing whenever I read the words "Fighting Fantasy". Lately I stumbled upon this free 80 Mb work of lifetime love: "The Atlas of Titan" by Simon Osborne and others. A collection of all published FF maps. If you like old school watercolor/ink art (and you do, Billiam ), you should pick up this tome of inspiration: outspaced.fightingfantasy.org/ (choose "Gamebooks" on the left menu, scroll down and download

Exactly that, Reivaj ! Most famous series of the early 80ties till mid 90ties. They are rising from the dead again, I think. Some new books in the making and several reprints (I believe, nearly 60 titles so far). When I was a teen, I painted maps of dungeons and land trips, reading, gaming, tossing the dice like . What a solo fun with minimal rules and "hardware" (paper) !

Thanks - I have a the small puffin paperback of Atlas of Titan (not for sale) but I believe that there was a larger version at some point (I have Out of the Pit - which is filled with lovely black and white illustrations) EDIT: the download worked! - oooh, lovely maps ... Not only has FF been returned but there are versions on Kindle and I-phone! Reivaj, I prefer Fighting Fantasy to the CYOA books (at the few I bought) because it uses a dice system, which really made the fights come alive. There's some great blogs and sites out there on FF books, new and old (like "Outspaced" above). Also there's quite a few free fan-fiction downloads, but I'm far too lazy to round up all the links now. There's a few guys like me who were actually introduced to fantasy RPG gaming through these and the Lone Wolf books (Grail Quest and Sagard aside ...) I'm always curious at the fact that some gamers still really look down on them. Many are surprisingly well written and superbly illustrated. I rarely see them in bookshops in the Midlands, Uk although the new ones are out there. Check out the current rights-holders of Fighting Fantasy: fightingfantasy.com/(Two FF blogs I'm enjoying: virtualfantasies.blogspot.com/ and the very funny turnto400.blogspot.com/ ) The bad news is, guys, is that I might have to start adding postage soon since posting to Australia seems to cost the actual price of the sale. D'oh!

Quite dense and atmospheric. And those McCaig illus, holy doody ... . I think, the original puffin edition is somewhat a collector's item. People who own those books want to be buried with them. Cool links, Billiam, thanks !
