I can't get Mac's Remove White filter to install on CS2, and somehow I've managed to survive without it since I stopped using PS 7.0. There's really nothing in CS2 that does the job quite as well.
If I needed to have an image Remove Whited, is there anyone out there that could help me with that? I'll send you a free model as thanks.
If you have an old version of Photoshop (such as 7) I can show you how to easily install the filter. Your world will be rocked by its awesome.

Hey Dave,
Use the >Color Range under the Select Menu. Then use the Eye Dropper to select color range and you can then adjust the "fuzziness" level of the color selection. It's pretty good for color removal like that old filter did. I use it quite a bit daily at work.
If you are still getting a white edge on things you can also use the Matting>Defringe or >RemoveWhite under the layers palette.
Hope that helps.
There is also a way to do it using the Channels (it's fairly simple). Copy layer, make a new channel, paste it, invert it. Select. Go back to layer and delete. That will remove the whites.

Hi Floyd,
Thanks for the suggestions. I tried them all, but I wasn't getting the results I really wanted.
So I went back to see if I could find the Remove White filter for CS, and it turns out I just needed to add a certain DLL into my Photoshop folder. The filter works now, and everything is once again right in the world.
