Thanks guys!
I appreciate everyone's thoughts.
So far I still have all the paper design stuff in the closet as I try my best to become a beach bum this summer and work on the health.
I still have my sketch pads, and try to do a page of sketches a day, so when I do get back into things I'll have thousands of designs to sort through and begin designing again.
I am also spending some money to acquire the machinery needed to manufacture die cut figures and models made from thick card and foam-core. I still have some very cool ideas for these paper figures, and want to see if I can be self employed doing them as a direct order physical product business. JIM

I only live 2 miles from the dunes, so it's quite easy to just go there for a few hours after work each day and enjoy the view Water is still cold at 60 degrees but it hasn't kept me out! The die cutting comes from the major flaw of this hobby for mass appeal, the cutting. I think if the figures were done as punch and play, then the barrier to purchasing is gone. Seeing that the development of new designs is much faster for paper I can easily out maneuver metal manufacturers with complete ranges as they try to get a handful of figures released. Seeing that Wizards has stopped the figures and going with tokens ,it's really prime time to jump into the market with quick, cheap and easy figures to put on the table. It will take me time to ramp up but once I have all the machinery and processes down, then it's just designing the sets. JIM

Jim, if you can pull that off, then the sky is quite open for you ... economy will worsen, I bet, the next decade, in US and Europe, and elsewhere. The kids want to play, but they have not the money to pay armies of whatever sort - and not much time or skill to paint them either. Paper is the future of gaming. Maybe, if energy prices are rising, even more than computers, who knows what we are facing ... . Stick to this plan. Sounds good.
