Yes, the multi-colour ninja plan is still in effect. I just finished drawing up half of the first set for the martial arts line. The only thing holding me back is the name of the line. I was thinking Serene Fist. The first set will be Monks vs Bandits and the second set will be Ninja vs Samurai. Both sets will give multiple colour schemes that will certainly add value to each project. I will release another set this week and then back to one a week for a while until I can kick it into high gear in July. There will be another Retro Future release this week. Next two weeks look like they will be martial arts weeks and then back to two Western releases. Thinking of a Steampunk line for late in the summer. Wish I had more time right now, but I'm marking essays and tests for the end of the school year and next week I'll have exams to mark.

Update:
Releases: Retro Space Set Two: Imperiax will be released Thursday June 16, 2011. Serene Fist Set One: Monks vs Bandits will be released Monday June 20, 2011
Upcoming (June 2011): Serene Fist Set Two: Ninja vs Samurai Retro Space Set Three: Invaders Whiplash Trigger Set Four: OK Corral Whiplash Trigger Set Five: Banditos
I'm also toying with some terrain, building and vehicle sets. Those won't be available until late July or early August.
I will also be introducing a Modern Warfare line, an Urban Skirmish line and a Steampunk line this summer.
I am kicking around the idea of a fantasy line, but there just seems to be so much fantasy stuff out there.
Edit: after some discussion and though this morning I think I may have found my 'niche' in the paper mini Fantasy genre. The Fantasy line will be called Classic Fantasy and will have more "old school" designs more in line with the 1970s RPG material out there, but in my style. Or me doing my best Errol Otis.
Any Requests or comments?

The Imperiax are too cool! They look like a cross between the Klingons and the Romulans from Star Trek classic (with a touch of Marvin the Martian thrown in). Worthy opponents indeed for the Space Patrol!
This makes me fell like writing some scenarios. Now... if only I had some pus-sucking Brain Worms and their pin-head drones!
Have fun! Steve
Gosh... now we can run cowboy and alien games with Okum Arts figures!

Of course, all the Space Patrol figures I use layers to print out red will have to be security forces who have only one hit point! Have fun! Steve "He's dead, Jim "

Any Requests or comments? These sets are really cool! I love the Western line. I play alot of Rippers (Savage Worlds Monster Hunting) and there is a real lack of good regular Victorian figures. Not any kind of -Punk just plain old Victorian peoples. Constables, Men and Women of various types, Monster Hunters, Detectives and their Dr. sidekicks, etc. There are a couple of companies that have put out 25mm sets of trifolds, but I really do not like trifold figures with a silhouette back or mirrors. Flats with back art is the only way to go! I guess I just got spoiled with all of the great figures from around here over the past few years. Keep up the great work! ;D

You are going to have some excellent options for submission to the Papercut Awards. Nice work! I really like the sets you've been doing.

I was waiting more Space Babes on this set (at least one more, non-evil looking)... Maybe in an Imperiax 2 set?

Thanks so much Adam... you were the first to pick up the set and left an awesome review there! Your words are kind and much appreciated. It's so busy right now wrapping up the school year that I've almost blown through my pre-drawn sets and hopefully I can keep up or increase the pace of releases over the summer. D.

No problem Dave.
It's a great product and I'd be happy to recommend it to anyone.
I'm in the middle of building up models and terrain for MDRG, One Monk, Dave Graffim, and some of my own stuff, but when I catch up with that I'll build and take some snapshots of the Serene fist set in action and post them on my Blog.

I love the styling and design of your characters! The Invaders are especially great!
I like the way you shade your figures. I tend to rely to heavily on gradient colors in my own work. I think it's time I grab my copy of "Manga Madness" and try a different approach to coloring and shading.

Thanks so much WaffleM! I use a semi cel-shaded shading style. I sort of blur the purple shadow area so it's not too harsh. It seems to translate well to a small scale. The minis actually look fairly 3d.

I love these figures, do you recommend a rule set to use with them?

okumart is there any chance of you doing police officers any time in the future? I like your style and I'm looking for paper miniatures for a Patlabor style game I'm starting.

Algoesnext: I have been using my own homebrew system. I am really a fan of microlite20 though. Highlandpiper: cops are definately in the way for the summer ( august?).
Next up:ninjas and samurai, a massive free fantasy set and the ok corral fun and games

Could we have some samurai bowmen and some monks with halberds? That will be the makings of a WFB Nippon army. Any samurai cavalry coming?

There is one archer per side in this set. Mounted Samurai will be a future release if there is enough interest. There will also be a few easter eggs in here...
