This is my 1000th post on Cardboard Warriors. What a long, strange trip it's been. I miss seeing Jim, but I'm keeping tabs on him through YouTube.
I'm excited for the new owners of this site, and grateful for all the encouragement they've given me. I'm also happy to see all of the new designers and the outpouring of creativity. There's a lot of talent here and even more goodwill toward one another. Too many to mention, really.
So until post #2000, I take my hat off to all of you (don't laugh at the bald spot) and thank you for making me feel at home.

I originally became familiar with this website looking for the set of buildings you had posted here. I didn't much care for Jim's style of miniatures back then, but I've certainly learned to appreciate them since.
Thank YOU ;D
Have fun! Steve
(Now, back to work on my forum hoard project!)

Congrats! I am insanely jealous of your output. I'm glad I could just be a small part of this great community. You have consistently raised the bar on presentation and preview imagery for your models. I'm sure a lot of us wish we had you Photoshop skillz. Hope to see you continue on for some time. And I'm sure you'll eventually find a pre-print publisher JIM

Oh, and I bow to you Dave as the one and only prolific texture and model artist with a heart for medieval realism. I adore that.
