A friend asked me about modern figures. He runs a "Vampire" campaign set in Trieste, Italy, at these days. Other than some DarkMook sets, i can't think at nothing else about modern paper miniatures.... any clue?

Precis Intermedia have some figures that may fit, but they only have silhouette backs as far as I know, and the drawing style is more like comic books than emulating metal or plastic miniatures.

That's great news! By the way, I printed some Whiplash Trigger minis at 50% scale and they looked great without any needing any changes to brightness as I usually apply when printing at a reduced scale.

Great to hear that they scale down alright. I used to play a cowboy skirmish game back in high school I made with tiny tiny counters on Car Wars scale. It was crazy small.

If you are looking for "heroes" I'm not sure is there is much beside rummaging through the hordes for the few minis that are here and there.
If you want soldiers, slick's minis on RPG now has some good sets (for a few dollars each) or there are the terra force sets here on Onemonk. Though you probably don't need much soldiers for Vampire.
Other than that I can't think of many.
