Thanks! This was a fun model to work on and I'm really happy with the way it turned out.

It looks absolutely amazing Dave. Even doing the files I had no concept about how great it was going to turn out. Keep it up!

You keep one-upping yourself.
Do some small projects like the gallows and take a bit of a break.
I can't wait to see what you do to top this one

Beautiful! I think I'll have to print at least two copies of the model, I see some nice kitbashing possibilities with the Watchtower set...

Just a note guys, the GSD file is set to a cutting speed of 3, you may want to bump that up

Oh, a quick question, noremorse: Are your GSDs made in Studio or RoboMaster. Studio can use either, but RoboMaster doesn't like the newer version. (Or at least my unupdated copy doesn't. Just something to make folks aware of. - Pb

They were done in Studio and saved as .GSD files.

Here's another look at the Inventor's House, using a more subdued configuration and textures. Assembled and photographed by Jerry Jensen.

I had a thought for something that would be a great add-on for the inventor's house, but may be a bit of a challenge. An airship which has a deck that could fit on the top balcony. The trick would be to pull off the balloon part, but I am sure you could pull it off Dave and it is definitely not something you have done before.

I'm putting together a steam powered dirigible based on the geometry of the telescope building if that would be of help to you. I'm doing it for this month horde.

Me too actually. ;D I made the all wood version of the dome...then turned it on it's side...and said, "Hey!" So I've been modding bits to make the center section and a passenger cabin using only free kits from Dave Graffam. Mine looks more Girl Genius in nature as it is a dirigible made out of wooden planks. ;D

Right now it looks like a cross between a Wright flyer, the Good year blimp and a stem train. I'm trying to keep it about a foot in length.

Your best model yet! I am going to use it in a steampunk setting, not certain yet whether I will add the free observatory or not. The other question that I have to ask myself is 'Road? Or canal?' The Auld Grump

Oh man, and I was happy to be able to build stuff at 50% scale (printed at 4 pages per sheet.)

That's really cool. So is that 6mm scale? I wonder how thick the chip board was that he used.

I know, it doesn't seem right. It's natural to think that if it fits on 25% of the page, it must be 25% of the original size. It's really strange that it doesn't work that way.
Also, that 1:220 scale Inventor's House is crazy. I've built some of my models at 6mm scale so I know it's possible, but it is not easy at all.
