Hey folks! Sorry I haven't posted for a while-the back issues have arisen once again, keeping me away from the drawing table and pc rather more than I want. We also had a bereavement in the family, and due to police and hospital investigations we have only recently been able to organise the funeral (which is Thursday this week). I have been getting some design work done on the wolves and a couple of Urban Wizards, as well as non-mini related Derby stuff. I hope to be up and running again properly soon, but dependent upon my back scan may have to slow down my already glacier like pace until it is sorted Hope to get something sorted for the Papercut Awards, so fingers crossed... Cheers, A

Take care, Darkmook. Family and health come first.
When you're back up and running, I'm chomping at the bit for your werewolves. Was there to be just the one, or several different ones?

Hey all! Stil plugging away, but have been crazy busy with non-mini related stuff. Back is still bad, but get my scan results in a few weeks so fingers crossed I'll get on teh mend. The planned sets are coming along slowly but surely (I have some interesting ideas for modern urban cultists...), but the game is on hold for the moment. Will keep you all updated, and thanks for your patience! Oh, and afet-there will be 5 wolves with 3 different colorways

I'm very glad to know that your personal issues are better. This is the most important thing. I apologize also for the delay in replying to your e-mail. I was on vacation and now I have a lot of works and my english ... but I'll answer you very soon. Good luck and good jobs. Ciao

Hey everyone! Thanks for the well wishes and interest in the wolves! I have been on vacation in Spain for the past 2 weeks, and the swimming and gentle walking everyday have really improved things in the back department. Having said that, I am now back to the 9-5 and stuck at my work station for most of the day! I am trying to ensure I get more breaks and take better care of the back, so fingers crossed I can stick to it. I will be hard at work on the wolf set, and plan to maybe throw a little modded something into this year's free Halloween set time permitting! Cheers for the support-hope to get some new minis out soon! A

Obviously, you should do what your doctor tells you. Most people I know with back problems have been told not to sit or stand for more than 20 minutes. You can even type standing up, but you have to remember to do it. Setting a 20 min alarm on your computer will really help. As I said, IF that is what your Dr./Physiotherapist told you is right for you.

Thanks folks-really trying to be good about taking breaks, and not doing too badly so far! I have a good chair at my day job and have regular workstation assessments, and my wife bought me a great office chair recently for home so my working methods have definately improved. I have managed to get a little work done on this year's free Halloween set-more info soon...

I'm glad your back is improving. If what you suffer from is sciatica, I may be able to offer hope. My sciatica had gotten so bad that I could not sit for more than a few minutes at a time. I had my desk in my office set up so that I could work while standing. It was pretty bad. Then an acquaintance recommended Active Release Therapy (ART). I figured, years of regular chiropractics hadn't solved the issue, so why not. After six visits, I was completely cured. The practitioner gave me a series of stretches to do regularly and made suggestions for modifying the behaviors that aggravated the sciatica. It's been five years. I can't recommend ART highly enough for issues that relate to the interaction between soft tissue and bone, which covers most back problems. Anyway, consider looking into it. I wish you all the best. I'm looking forward to the werewolves

I grabbed a few sets.
Any chance of getting JUST the humans in a set? I loved the human agents you have, and the two S.W.A.T./F.B.I. agents you have, but I don't have need for the hoard of zonbies... just saying.
I have these in my queue, but I thought I would ask... buying 5 sets to get 8 figures doesn't seem to make a lot of sense to me.
Thanks for your attention.

It never occurred to me, but the reason I didn't buy Darkmook's figures is because I don't care for zombies. I think he is one of the best designer of paper miniatures, all his characters have a felling of action, and at the same time the figures are easy to cut and have distinct silhouettes. Perfect adapted to the medium. But unfortunately I don't have many uses for the minis he released thus far. I itching to spend my money on some Darkmook's minis tough, that's why I'm so excited about the wolves!

I mentioned the same thing, maybe a year ago. His heroes are the best part of each set, and there are dreadfully few heroes in each set.
At the time he had just started the Tabletop game he was working on, and it was to include a significant number of heroes, but that has been delayed, due to playtesting and injury if I recall correctly.
