This is the figure I've been developing for the single figure category of the Paper Cut Awards. In total, it took about 8 hours of test building, drawing and coloring, and another half hour or so cutting and building it *very carefully*. I have used some textures from cgtextures.com on the backpack, gun and base. The base is actually a slotted box and the figure is not glued to it. Besides metal and plastic minis (for proportions and painting style), the main influence for the project was the Metal Slug game series.  |

Here are the two test builds I made while completing the model. The one on the left was to check proportions and see if the gun would fit correctly in the arms of the model. The other one was done when I completed the drawing and before starting coloring it.  |

Nice character and I like the box base. A little ballast and he will sit solidly on the table.
One thing, however, and that is self-promotion.
On the jpg, have the name of the character, your name as designer and the year you did it. Makes it seem more official, you know.
