If only my Japanese were better! (OK, it's zero) I just use the auto translate plug in on Firefox.

I'm using Google Chrome, it just translates the page automatically.
Basically, all the red buttons on the right side of the page link to a PDF. Just right click and save as for each of them.
Even when the names are translated, it's the name of the figure he made the diorama for.

Those Revorama backdrops are made for those Revoltech Articulated Anime Robot figures. About the size of a standard Action figure.

I like the idea of backdrops for displays. Revell used to market some Robotech figures in small bays that were really just diorama bases--but they were why I bought the models. Maybe I need to look at the idea a little more closely.

I don't remember which company had them, but I had a series of giant scorpions and bugs as plastic models as a kid. I liked the ruined buildings and cars almost as much as the bugs. Again with the diorama base concept.

Again with the diorama base concept. Holy cow, I totally had that giant scorpion model! I remember that one of the claws had crushed a car (a corvette or something similar). I got it for something like $1.50 at some country store/apple farm of all places. [edit] I found this site that detailed the model series: Gigantics. Including shots of the parts, the instructions and built models. Neat!

The backdrops would have looked really good for Mechs, if I remember them correctly. I think the scale was about halfway between HO and N, whatever that would be called, maybe TT or something odd like that. I still have the scorpion, but don't know where the backdrop got to. I don't know where the other ones went. but the scorpion was the best IMHO.
Thanks for the link. It brings back memories. I guess the only one I didn't have was the wasp.
