I had a few minutes to play around with some concepts today. This is my Whiplash Trigger train! The concept is the train is ... either filled with zombies or gold or out of control or speeding toward a bridge that was out ... and you have to get it stopped! You and your posse (unless you are by yourself) ride your horses to catch the train. You climb onto the deck of the caboose and have to fight your way to the engine. The first page is the start and finish line. There are some differences with this than with SF4... but only a few. The cards are placed in a "deck" (like Lucky 13... a game I started in the summer) and the engine is mixed in with the other train cars. The caboose is the starting tile, and will ALWAYS be played first (it is not in the deck... like Lucky 13). When the exit card is drawn, that is where the boss is, and the brakes. The cards are 3x8 because Shuffler uses an A4 format that works well for the 8.5x11 we use here in the States. I chose this size because I could easily put two tiles/card per page. The train cars will have 2 encounter points on each train car... only one will be used in solo play. The cars will be full of passengers, but they are all ducked down in their seats so you can't see them (no use making the game more difficult by placing extra tokens or things). There may be event cards that give the bad guys a hostage or something... we'll see. Ok. Will post more as I can play with this. FUNNY THING! Who would ever have thought you could use Shuffler to make MAPS!
