Well, here in the States it is one of the biggest holidays of the year? Do you have any traditions? Our family always has a big, fat turkey for dinner... and I bring my family with me! (Rimshot). You may have to read that a few times to get the joke! Regardless... here's wishing you and yours a Happy Turkey Day! ;D On a more serious note, I have a LOT to be thankful for. In January I was in the hospital and nearly died. Here we are 10 months later, and I am starting to build up my little business. Life is good and thanks to my friends here, and my beautiful wife and kids, I couldn't ask for more!

Most Canadians do what Americans do about a month earlier because our harvest is over by Halloween.
Enjoy!

And a Happy Thanksgiving to all.
A friend posted a Maxine cartoon where the old lady said, "I'm supposed to bring the wine for Thanksgiving Dinner with the family. What wine goes with nuts?"

Traditions?
For the last 25+ years me, the kid, my folks go to my aunt's church to help serve Thanksgiving dinner to folks that don't have a place to go, and deliver meals to shut-ins. I did a 26 lb turkey, stuffing, a broccoli/cauliflower salad and two pecan pies with home-grown pecans.
For the last 15 years we've had a get-together for anyone that helps out with the dinner over at my folks' place. We serve chili and potato soup. This year it was held at another home, but I still had to bring a double batch of potato soup. Goes down really good after looking at turkey all day.
