Okay, I know I am dangerously close to thread hijacking with this post, but it definitely applies. I don't know how many folks are familiar with UHU's paper models. They are extremely detailed. He has one of the time machine. On another forum there is a very interesting build thread on this model. www.papermodelers.com/forum/alternate-dimensions/17840-time-machine.htmlSorry, Sithcundman, but it seemed to fit in.

Okay, I know I am dangerously close to thread hijacking with this post... ...Sorry, Sithcundman, but it seemed to fit in. That's okay, I'm sure I'll find a way to drag the topic back to me. ;D I've downloaded a fair few of UHU02's models though I have yet to find the courage to actually build one; the amount of detail he puts into each model is somewhat intimidating. Unfortunately UHU02's work has been pirated so often he has now limited the access to his website

I've downloaded a fair few of UHU02's models though I have yet to find the courage to actually build one; the amount of detail he puts into each model is somewhat intimidating. I know the feeling well. As a newbie to the craft, I downloaded this model, with only 3 simple models under my belt. I ended up deleting the file when I viewed Uhu's build thread...

While building a copy of Jerom's "My Little Cthulhu" ( jerom-bd.blogspot.com/2009/03/update-papertoys-my-little-cthulhu.html) the expression on the faces of the "Victims" reminded me of the Nazi Agent Toht in "Raiders of the Lost Ark" (at the end, when he's... spoiler...melting) and that inspired me to use Jerom's template to make these... Indiana Jones, Characters, Cultists & Nazis

... I stay by my words, that these minis are the most funny on this forum. Especially the boxy critters are new and refreshing to me. This is an original concept, I think, quite digital gaming like. I like, how you gave them individuality by dressing only. Yes, the face ... I remember the 'melting' scene quite well (watched it over and over again by rewinding the tape in the 80ies ... - still one of my favorite 'horror' film scenes, a true classic).

I would say off-hand they are Darkmook's... as far as the humans go. He has a very distinctive style, nad I recognize his "Hook" character from the Hoards (Hoard 18).
I wouldn't mind grabbing these myself!

Kiladecus is right, the human characters are by Dark Mook (hence the "Thanks Adam"). The Hook character is a recoloured and updated version of the Mini from Hoard 18. The Time Traveller and his Companion were commissioned by me through Adam's website... darkmook.blogspot.co.uk/ ... all the contact details are there. If you have an idea for a mini, he'll be happy to discuss it with you. We plan to make these minis available through the Forum Hoard some time soon so if you check back there on a regular basis, you should see them. ;D Just to make sure of credit where credit's due, the Companion is based on the designs of Kato at www.steampunkcouture.com/ ...just Google "Steampunk Kato" and you'll find the inspiration for this mini. As for the Morlocks, they're mine. I made them from artwork I found on Deviantart and, although I had to do a considerable amount of work to make the front and back match, there is still enough of the original artist's work there for me to be uncomfortable about sharing them without permission. I have contacted the artist to that effect but still haven't got a reply. This was quite some time ago so I'm not holding out much hope...sorry
