Much, MUCH BETTER now! Just please consider filling/arranging white space within the figure - vide previous version - and it will be (IMO!) perfect1 BTW: 30mm version would be nice! ;D

Right-one looks "faster"/ more dynamic now - I'd vote for this one! Question: just for curiosity - have you tried right-one "body" with left-one leg/foot? Combined version would give additional feeling of speed and dynamic... I think it's worth to try, but... just my 2 cents

They are both the same figure, just arranged differently as all of the parts are vectors, I'll keep tweaking the layout, but I'll do a page with lots of variations.

Could you lay him right down on the "gas tank" and thereby rid us all of that pesky white space in the middle of the fig? C. PS Please excuse "thereby rid," I've been reading Sherlock Holmes.

Mayhaps some of the English-as-second-language perusers of this fine forum would appreciate a dollop or two less of the colloquialisms.
I wonder how Google Translate handles these.
On the other hand, colloquialisms add character.

On the other hand, colloquialisms add character. ( my personal opinion ) I, as English-as-second-language peruser ( ), like very much colloquialisms and character. This is an U.S.a/angloxason forum that give hospitality to me, very well. Thanks to all his users. I like what google can't translate so I must try understand, i can imagine what ... So I learn new colloquialisms. your ( english ) "raining cats and dogs" in italian is "piove a catinelle". This is the perfect right sense but not a literal translation. "raining cats and dogs" is "piove cani e gatti" ( but for us it has not a meaning ). "piove a catinelle" in english is "raining (to ) basins/ washbasin" ... So, thanks king but this is funny/enjoyable for me. I know and learn new means. ;D Sorry for OT. I like white spaces and don't like the black internal parts of a figure. So these figures are perfect. In 30 mm. too.

When I first met my German wife she sounded like someone from a victorian novel. I think it is the modern stuff most likely to screw people up.
BTW Shakespeare uses "stuff" but "screw up" might throw people. So might "throw people" just can't win.

I was just making light a trifle bit. It wasn't a serious request to curtail its use.
Back to the bike, I also would prefer white space to cut out over blackness. I don't like figures to be too fiddly to cut out, but a large hole isn't hard to cut out and it looks better on the table.
Frankly, there isn't a version on this page that I wouldn't use. They all look good. One thing that I think would tie things in a little better is color coordinating the belt and boots. You don't see much of the belt, but if it were also brown, it would bring more of the color spectrum into play. Would it be too much to ask to see the newer versions with the module between the handlebars in green again? I'd like to compare the two versions.

I was mostly kidding too. But I started by bragging about my wife. Can't be helped. Oh, and as a Canuck (aka Canadian) I feel I need to put in a word for the non UK/USA english speakers on this forum. Sir Rob is Australian, for example. No wonder there is such a variety of english used here. I agree that the bikes are great as is, but Dragnoz's idea about the bowstring over in the Mike the Knight thread has got me thinking more about possible win-win design choices. Might as well push the limits.

Wow. Great! Let me parduz a bit ;D - To add "speed", keep the rightmost pose, but the left figure leg. I'd move the feet more backward, more or less where that "pipe" enter in the lower part of the bike. The head could move a bit backward.... you can't "lower" your neck too much with a helmet and a chest armor - I'd rise the "tank" part of the bike, so the body have some "support" and the bike is even more "bulk" (and that white space is no more empty) - You draw the hand as the handlebar is a sort of square bracket ( [ ), as we see the fingers. If this is what you want i'd enhance the perspective of the arm, making the glove curve more .... curve... and the forearm a bit shorter. If you want a more "fast" feeling, the the handlebar is straight, we should see the hand side and a bit of the upper glove, as if the grip was going down by 30° ... hope this makes sense. A "stronger" separation between the man and the bike could be useful, using shadows/thicker lines.

That's why he has a verb named after him! In case anyone wondered ( or cared)... my post wasn't meant to be rude... it was showing my enthusiasm and impatience! Jose knows me well, and read it (I hope) with my sense of humor implied. Although, I DO want these at 30mm. Scruff did the TRON bikes, and these will work well with these... and OTHER uses, too! I love 'em!

I only ever take enthusiasm from you Kil There's a policy at my place of work which states 'if trying to upset Ian, please tell him clearly, he just doesn't get it'. Some people look at the world through rose tinted glasses, I have a rose tinted brain. I'm working on some side weapon pods for these and recolouring the bikes is a one colour operation (gotta love vectors).... any preferences on colour? I'll get a pdf up this weekend. I'm assembling them using layers to build up the 3d effect, looks good so far.

I'm working on some side weapon pods for these Juicy! So, the pod will be 2.5D ("cross mounted" on the mini)? .. recolouring the bikes is a one colour operation Oh..... desert, urban, police and a full metal (very "tech") could be enough ;D - edit - Would you like to share your vectors? I could (with my infinite time to finish them) imagine also some "racing" colors....

I don't care about the colors as much as I do HAVING them! ;D I agree with Parduz, as always... additionally, (since you asked) I would like to see any (if not ALL) of these colors: White Yellow Black Tan Red Blue (kinda like the Police blue... darker blue, that is) Grey (or "gray" if you prefer) Also, a snow camo color (in addition to the ones that Parduz suggested). If you did that, then I could use them as the primary Fast attack craft in Era of War for ANY faction... (except for the Viking Orcs). *NOTE: I am sorry if Jose' NEVER asks us for our "wishlist" on colors.*
