I'm building "Smoke" - the beggar's quarter of Punjar to run the "Sellswords of Punjar" from Goodman Games. I'm looking for an iron gate model to build, for the very first encounter, described thus: You and your companions stand at the head of a dark alley. An iron gate topped by leering gargoyles and sharp spikes bars the way. Through the rusted bars you can spy the dilapidated shacks and ruined tenements that overhang the shadowed alleyway. All is still save for the red glimmer of hungry rats and endless drum of rain on the cobblestones. Above, the sooty stacks of the dread charnel house belch out greasy ash, choking the air with a palpable aura of despair... The gate is locked and has might be trapped, so I'd like it to be a great intro piece at scale. So far I've found too basic models the Haunted Mansion Entrance Pillar Kit free from Disney (with a pre-scaled to the right size option.) The only problem is that it doesn't include the gate itself, just the frame: And the gate from Fat Dragon Game's older DRAGONSHIRE: The Cemetery - It isn't quite right either, the dragon motif is off, and it doesn't look threatening (though I think I could cut between the bars just fine) and the pillars are huge. Any other kits out there you know about?

You're welcome. I was bored this morning.
Now that I look at it, I'd probably stretch or double the thickness of the posts.
They're suppose to fold into a cone with a pointy top, which I think might work better twice as thick with 6 pointy folds to centre instead of 3.
Anyhway, it was a quick draft mashed with a quick sketch.

Wow. I didn't think you'd actually cut out all those middle bits! It certainly makes it look cool.
You are the god of cutfiles oldschool.

Thanks. Perhaps not having the word iron was what I was missing in my search. What a gem, I can't believe I hadn't found this before. Shortly after downloading the cutfiles I had this. I took your advice( oldschooldm), and did a double cut at the slowest speed, which resulted in very little clean up. I also just spray painted the back, which turned my edging time into seconds (this is something I've been doing for a while now, sometimes with better results than others). This time it worked like a charm. The whole thing took me less than fifteen minutes. I'm thinking about cutting bobby pin holes so it can attach it to various other walls. Even if I screw it up fifteen minutes isn't too bad to make another one. Thanks again to grendelsmother64 and oldschooldm for all the cool stuff you make. Just another testament to the amazing/creative/sharing/cooperative nature of this community that I am grateful to be a part of.
