@ Rhannon - Thanks! Ad. Hard Sci-Fi - I'm working on it... and I'm VERY, VERY excited with this project @ Kiladecus - there will be another one (third in row) "Snakes" set - this time with definitelly more Sci-Fi attitude/character (drawing but also color schemes/textures - kinda metallic / acid ones etc.) - with more "Alien-like" figurines, so knowing you I think that this one you will like the most. In general it will be based on some old (but never released) color-sketches, but with some additional twists: PLUS #1Recently I've realized that I could add useful or funny variations for some figures (kinda like "desert" version of some "water" snakes and vice versa), nothing "brand new" but still interesting and worth to do from my point of view -- but do not worry -- If/when additional pages will be released/added - sets will be updated and all who already bought will be informed and could re-download for free. PLUS #2There will be also kinda surprise / bonus "experimental" set, but even if it's almost done it's still too early to reveal details as it's still under constructions so some changes might occur.

...new hard sci-fi military set... When I wrote regarding Sci-Fi under construction, I was meaning mostly these: (some more samples on my website)BUT these are kinda just " core" - there is more... more robots, more mutants and... more SCENERY and mechanical and robo/automated stuff... auto-guns, radar-stations, various vehicles, mecha-warriors etc... Actually all this is kinda new stuff for me as I was not that good designing machines, robots and any sort of 2.5/3D tank and vehicles etc (you know - unfolding/additional tabs etc needing precise and accuracy, quite time-consuming but at the same time troubling and even somehow boring stuff //I was not using Papecura nor Google Sketch-up at the time//, not mentioning even all the "fun" with detailed assembling instructions, part numbering etc... and then you have to make test-assembling and some photos -- as 2.5/3D models are not selling/being attractive for modellers without couple of good quality photos... obviously there is need to see exactly the final result on the set cover)... In fact I was even joking (from myself) so I submitted 2.5D modern tank "for the horde" (actually can't find it right now in Hoard section BTW? so can't provide link... but it was something like background "Abrams" on following picture -- err... do not stare at the Alfa Romeo Italian car-design masterpiece on this collage... as it was just another one joke kinda "Beauty and The Beasts" theme So after 1 or 2 models I usually surrender/give up... for months:) But now, now I got kinda whole bunch of various models so what is needed is to bring them to the same dimensions/scale and color/texture standards... So there is pretty good chance that at last I'll manage to combine successfully figurines with models and scenery in order to provide more-or-less complete Sci-Fi oriented series of sets...

I am glad that some ELSE is pestering you about Sci-Fi... makes it easier for me! Is there a link to those tanks? I would like to make a small request... since we are friends, and all... Is there any way to make these tanks at 6mm? I am working on a project where 1"=30 feet, so these tanks of yours would be an EXCELLENT option for me to play with... and test out. Please, oh please?! ;D

Well I'm pretty sure that Abrams-like tank is hidden somewhere in Hoard section (It was for sure submitted! moreover - I can remember that you wrote reply to this particular thread: how it could be easy to convert this 2D into real 3D)... ...But surprisingly I can't find this thread no more:((( ?!? =>>>Anyway, please find again attached "Easy 3D Tank" You can downscale it in Photoshop or GIMP (or whatever software you prefer) or... just print it with reduced size. I got somewhere color "skins" for this one (grayish, steel) but it would took time to recover them from backup files - so feel free to recolor / revamp / remodel according to your need! CherssSss..., Messsper...sSsss... //well, it's "Snakes" thread// Attachments:
