Old men are men who have lived a long time. Veterans are men who have seen and survived battle. It seems more appropriate. I agree with you, cowboy. But sometimes one doesn't exclude the other one. ;D I think about Druss, from Drenai Saga. ;D

So, may be the elder warriors? Because some of these warriors had never been in the fight. Some of them are just the hunters, witchers, healers and so on. But once upon a time they heared "Battlecry of the nature". I've got it. ;D No, I just think to make another, small project. I'll show it later.

Thanks very much, "distrigillator". There will be also a "lancer"version for the "Iron Raiders" ( like the preview above ) ?

Post by distrigillator on Jan 17, 2013 2:04:03 GMT -9
Unfortunately, there won't. "Lancer" was the first version, but I'd noticed there were too much lancers in Krakov... So, I decided to make cavalry with pretty "Eastern" tactic.

So, they are "Pososhniye lyudi" ;D like medieval Rus men-at-arms. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pososhniye_lyudi (If Wikipedia doesn't know the thranslfation, and I even more so) ;D At least, they have the same function. ;D

Thank you very much for the new set, Alex.
As soon as possible I'll build all your paper figures ( with pastic bases ), because they, together with those of a few other artists, really deserves it.
Ciao
PS: the new knight is very charismatic. ... But with a motorbike ... ;D

Hi there! Today I've finished Krakov single warriors: Heroes (Vityases) and Warlocks (The witch-doctor is more similar for their Russian name, but Warlock is more...bellicose? )! ;D

As usual ... blah blah blah ... ;D Very great minis! Thank you very much, Alex. But I like these even more ( If it were possible ) for one thing. I don't know if this is random or you have deliberately wanted this particular. It seems to me that the three foot figures represent the same character with different weapons and poses. And I like it very much. If the same character is represented with different armor and weapons, to represent different times and events of his adventures, he would be also the ideal set "three stages" set ( a character at low, middle, and high levels ) for every fantasy rpg. Very good work. As usual.

Maybe Alex is busy at this time ( family, work, school ... ) , maybe his internet connection has some problems ... I don't know ... But his "Chronicles of Theyra" project continues. Now Krakov infantry have commanders, musicians and standard bearers. Four updated figures' sheets, in a single zip file, are here: vk.com/doc-45877733_167283182?dl=1b00639948fa586e9aThanks, Alex.
