Really great figure. Perfect!
Optimal cost for any interested person in high artistic quality. A figure not to be missed, imho.
but ... (this is not a criticism, they are only personal opinions based on personal preference. It is not "the truth" ) only one figure ( and its mirrored copy ).
Personally I prefer commercial sets with more figures ( poses ). One figure is perfect for a multi set as the previous one ( "Monsters" ).
Eventually anyway even for me it is a very good buy.

Thank you for the feedback everyone.
I agree completely Rhannon, and our future sets will include more variation.
The dwarf has been stuck in the pipe since November, so I just wanted to get it out there for people. I feel it can still be very useful as a generic dwarf soldier, similar to how old plastic GW sets only offered one set pose. The idea would be to use paper minis like these for your generic troops then only buy pewter or plastic minis for your commanders and special units.
I tried to implement a Multi-Layered PDF with all the color options, but it was simply too many layers for Illuatrator to handle. It would have been about 360 layers (12 Dwarves x 30 color layers). In the end I decided to choose the color schemes for you (the customer).
If there is interest, I can also include the layered PSD (photoshop file) so customers can have complete access to all the layers and can more easily mod/re-color the dwarves as they like.

I need to reiterate that what I wrote is not a criticism. I really like the dwarf, his twin and the many color options. Unfortunately I would not be able to benefit from the PSD files. But even so I am more than satisfied. Thanks.

Don't worry Rhannon, we highly value your feedback.
I just wanted to explain why we decided to release him solo, instead of with friends.
We have decided to change the price from $2->$1.25. We hope this seems more reasonable for everyone.
If you already purchased the set, and we have access to your email, we will send you a discount code to reimburse you for the difference paid.

For me it was already more reasonable the old price. They are 48 minis in two poses and many color's variations in addition to the major four . Two bucks is a very right price for all that work. So I already deleted the coupon. But I had already said that the price was right. I understood that the figure was a set's preview, not a single great figure in many variations. But you have already explained this. It will be a great character with slick and sanity studios ( even without artillery ;D ) dwarves. Thanks very much. PS: There is a bases' pdf file ( the two previous types ), and it is about 40 MB ... ...

In the end I decided to choose the color schemes for you (the customer). There is that temptation to go overboard. I face it in pretty much everything I do ;D I think the real trick with layers is to try and do 3 or 4 that affect one thing, and 3 or 4 more that affect another and 3 or 4 that affect a third thing and so on. In the end you have like 15 to 20 layers but thousands of completely unique combinations, which is way better than having 360 layers and only 360 combinations (if you're doing it that way, it would probably be quicker and easier to just make 360 individual PDFs) Really like the artwork on this dwarf though. Very interesting looking axe and that facial expression is possibly the most dwarfy thing I've ever seen!

looks great and a reasonable price but just one pose would be a sticking point .but as far as the artwork goes it's great.

I have to confess I saw the $1.25 on RPGNow, and grabbed it up. I have been SO swamped, I haven't had much time to look at it, let alone print them out. I saw that it was a load of Dwarves for the price, and if they were all the same figure (or two) then you have given your customers something that not every publisher does: VARIETY! I have gotten figures in the past and said, "I love this guy, but I wish the colors were ..." PERMES/ Mesper does JUST that. If you want a blonde female wearing a red dress and green cloak, he has it! Only YOU can set your prices. If you try to sell something and it doesn't move well, then adjust your price. But adjusting your price doesn't mean "giving it away," either. I have skimmed over them, and I generally write reviews and "rate" items once I build them. After I have the model/ figures in front of me, I go in while it's fresh and write my reviews. So, if you see one pop up down the line, don't be surprised! Sometimes you expect to hear things faster than people respond (if ever), but I would rather get HONEST feedback than to hear people just blowing sunshiine up my skirt... but that is just me. The figures look good. Maybe you can do a poll to see what people may want to see. One figure in 30 color options may not be as "alluring" as one figure in 10 color choices with 10 uniques weapons. I LOVE your lizardmen, among my favorites, one thing was the various weapon choices. I don't know if any of this is helpful at all, but I hope you understand what I am saying. (Because I lost myself a while back..)

I'll echo Rhannon, I would prefer a set with maybe 4 different poses, and pay more for it, than a set with one pose in multiple colors.
Said that, that one pose is excellent, very dynamic, a characterization much more in line with a player character than with rank and file anonymous cannon fodder. This one has character, personality!
