The forum's equivalent of "view latest posts" (down near the bottom of the forum home page) only goes back 10 posts, so you could potentially miss quite a bit of chatter if you don't visit multiple times a day, and there are way too many sections and subsections to quickly see what's new at a glance.
Is there any way to increase or modify the number of latest posts?

Hi Christopher,
If you are logged in and use 'new' (above) you see all the threads have changed since your last reading in the last days (usually the page takes "4/5 days" of topics, 30 threads )
Sorry for my bad english.
Edit: also the new posts, even if you ever don't read them, are reported here.

Sorry if this is not what you are looking for but the "New" link at the top shows the 30 threads with most recent posts.
It is funny that for a while I assumed "New" meant "[create] new user" so I would manually visit each forum to look for new posts. Then one day I misclicked the Home button...

Rhannon: That's exactly what I needed! Thanks!
Gilius: Don't feel bad--for some reason, I thought it was for creating a new thread or something. It just never occurred to me that it might actually be a button for viewing new posts.
I feel like a doofus right now... ;D

Now can we get the "New" button back? I'm finding horrendous to navigate the forum now that it has a new look.

I took a tip from some others and bookmarked the "recent threads" page. It works just like the new button except that sometimes you have to hit "back" twice instead of "new" once.

It's at the bottom of the home page; I'll try to duplicate it at the top, not sure how that works yet though.
