Hey everyone, I must be slipping. This was available yesterday, and I forgot to post it. Grey Matter Games teamed up with Dramascape to offer this AMAZING model. It is a free add-on to their Courtyard Ruins map set. Here is the link to the site: www.rpgnow.com/product/113021/The-Gallows?term=gallowsMake sure you check out some of their other amazing sets. Thank you for the free model - and at least your photo here shows what it looks like constructed, but the model imagery included on the site and (3 times!) in the PDF is misleading. The as-built image (page 3) should look more like your photo. Could you have them fix page three of the PDF to be the geometry as built, not as imagined in someones head? I'll increase my 3 star rating then. New builders should not encounter such misrepresentations in free kits (ANY kits!). It leaves a bad taste for the hobby when they are just starting out... This turns something cool (free kit!) to something NOT cool.

OldSchoolDM,
You mean that you weren't happy with the images DramaScape used in their advertising? If I understand you correctly, you are saying that you would have preferred they used the actual model instead of the 3D rendered image?
I will contact them and mention it. If you left a 3-Star rating, did you explain why? I will let them know, and I am sure they will look in to it.
Was there something wrong with the model itself?
I can't speak for DramaScape (other than they do AMAZING work), but I always try to use my actual figures/models in promotion.
Thanks for your feedback. It is EXACTLY what I need to hear so I can improve things, and not leave people disappointed in the future.

OldSchoolDM, You mean that you weren't happy with the images DramaScape used in their advertising? No. Not just that. The "as built" or "against white" image is also the high-detail 3D render from the advertising (which has completely different geometry), not an image of the build as included. I was specific about Page 3 of the model. Please look yourself. There are no textures+shapes in the 3D renders that match the model. I did leave a review explaining the problem. If I'd paid for the kit it would be 1 star for false advertising - and I know I wouldn't be alone. This should be fixed.

Well just for you I've added a disclaimer to the bottom of the product page. Thanks for amending the product entry. Dude - "Just for you" comment was a little snarky, don't you think? Based on the average rating, apparently I wasn't alone. We seem to live in a world where people are afraid to say "Ooops! Sorry! Fixed that, thanks!"

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, OSDM. I hope this eliminates any further concerns about this product.
Thanks, Dramascape for amending the file.
I hope that everyone enjoys the model. ;D
