My first paper miniature designs. They have parts that are much too skinny for paper miniatures. Next time I won't make that mistake.

You can always thicken them up with big black outlines. The good news is you had the guts to start. Congratulations on your first set.

Thanks guys! Im glad I was able to get them in a decent enough state to enter them on time. I haven't done much drawing at all in the last ten years. I did use to enjoy it quite a lot though, so I'm hoping this will inspire me to take up the pencil again.

I'll be sure to find a use for them I agree completely with cowboyleland (whose comment inspired me to submit my somewhat-less-ready mini), that it takes guts to go forward. You had a great idea, good drawing, and follow-through to the real world mini where you could see that it needed a little more tweaking to work. That's where we are at, the learning stages of this craft, and that last real-world building and tweaking is something that will never go away. And your set is far from the first that is more doable with a robo-cutter

Thank you, cowboyleland, your inspiring comment spurred me to submit my own mini (rough as it is) to the contest. Now, I hardly expect to win any prizes, or more than a vote or two, but now I have a personal and public baseline from which to improve. I've gotten so much out of this great little forum, that I'd like to one day contribute something worthwhile of my own, and it's high time I got to working on getting there ;D

Inspiring comment, eh? They do say you teach best what you most need to learn . . .

Thanks. I'm going to add that black outline sometime in the next few days. I will post that version in my other thread. I'll add a link to there from here when I do.
