Looks like some great stuff this week! Love the magic keys program.
Dear Model'n Pals,
This week we are proud to announce the release of the B-29 Superfortress to subscribers, the Fatman Atomic Bomb to non-subscribers (what are you waiting for?) and a bunch of other great models at Fiddler's Green
Last week, the links didn't work in the first email, but they were okay in the second one. If you ever have trouble with the links in the email, then please go to the Mailbag where you can see the latest revision. It serves as a draft to give us an outline of what is in store for us each Saturday, and it can give you a glimpse into the future.
Ward is working up a nice mix for us around the basic theme of the B-29. The F-84, and F-85 were parasite aircraft tested on the B-29, and the MiG-15 was designed with the intent of destroying B-29's during the Korean War. The F86 Sabre was another one that we were considering, which was the US Response to the MiG. Of course the Zero would have to be part of that line-up.
It's been hard to wait this long to tell you, but we have another of the N/A list for you this week as well. Aaron has come through again with the Japanese Yokosuka MXY7 Ohka Flying Kamikaze Bomb (the Okinawa sucka) so it's "Bombs Away!" here at FG and you can be a part of it if your keys are current.
Another exciting development is that Norm has gone into 3D Graphics and is working on a new, more realistic railroad shed. I don't know if this will be ready for this week, but it should be soon.
Richard has also stunned us again with the most beautiful paper model of a Red Tailed Hawk that I've ever seen. I put an advance pic on the home page for you. He's already re-done some parts since that picture, but he want's it to be just right for you. He's real good that way.
So we have the following so far:
Boeing B-29 Superfortress WWII Heavy Bomber
Republic F-84 Thunderstreak/Thunderbird
F-85 XF-85 McDonnell Goblin Parasite Jet Fighter
The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-15
WWII Japanese Mitsubishi A6M Reisen Zero
North American F-86 Sabre Jet
Yokosuka MXY7 Ohka Japanese Flying Bomb
There's always more to talk about, but that's the highlights. Come to the chat room if you want to know more or if you want to help out with something.
