With Fall upon us the entire village prepared for the upcoming Holidays. Farmers and craftsmen alike tuned their home-made instruments and met in barns and closed shops in order to practice. Bakers and cooks prepared their best dishes with the freshest of the harvest bounty. Young men prepared to woo young women so not to be alone during the cold of the upcoming Winter season, and all waited for the dancing to begin. These two sets of Imperfect People include many dancers who can be set up in different ways from square dancing to circle dancing to couples dancing to line dancing, a fair number of new musicians from drummers to pipers to accordion players to fiddlers to lute players, a pair of odd cooks, and a number of others. Imperfect Dancers LinkImperfect Entertainers LinkHope they help your towns and villages enjoy the Holiday Season! Dryw the Harper As always, use Imperfect Festivities responsibly, perhaps as a target of Orc attacks or Bandit raids. Or just as a chance to let the players explore the social side of their characters.

Some Imperfect Architecture, or at least 3D Imperfect Furniture? I love it all, especially how well it goes with Billiam Babble's Inked Adventures stuff. Which reminds me, I've something to post later today...

The base tiles are Billiam's Inked Adventures, as are the tables. Behind the tables are my Imperfect Back Bars with kegs and cabinet, the stage is Fat Dragon, the curtains are World Works, and the Castle is the Amazing Imperfect Folding Castle (in progress, a really big project where the Towers, Wall Sections, Gate House, and Inner Buildings can fold and stored flat, so far I've gotten the walls, Towers, and Gate House done but the inner buildings are still in development and should include a barracks, stables, and main house but I want them to both fold flat and have interiors. They are all planned out in my head, but now comes doing the actual layout with various prototypes... very time consuming). Still, I keep plugging away.

Yes, I have the base tiles & tables (most of Billiam's stuff, actually, from OBS, Deviant Art, TLatD, even his really early stuff). You've shown off the stage combo before in the village scene (Christmas, was it?). The Imperfect Back Bars blends perfectly with Billiam's table, and hints at the top-downs you did for the tavern. Any chance you've a 3D version of the Imperfect Fireplace? That'd be a lovely place for Imperfect Children to hang Imperfect Stockings... If you'd like a test builder, drop me a line. I should be free to help out in a couple of weeks

Wacky Anne, Yes I have Imperfect reversible fireplaces (blazing fire on one side, no fire on the other, so it depends on which way you put it against the wall). I also have 3D alters, stone caskets, pillars, doors in metal, wood, and stone, beds, bunkbeds, desks, bars for a tavern, chairs, barrels, crates, chests in metal and wood, trunks for the end of the beds, and an entire set of cave pieces including walls, boulders, and stalagmites, all done in the same style to blend with Inked Adventure pieces (which I too discovered yet more on his Deviant Art postings). I'm still deciding whether to wait until the Imperfect Amazing Folding Castle is done so I can put the furniture out with it to decorate the inside of the buildings, but I'll try to get some pictures posted of some of it for you to see.

Dryw the Harper I consider this the best news since Billiam Babble recent posts on re-starting the Crypts, Tombs, and Catacombs, AND making more Wilderness Tiles. Both of your artwork inspires me to play more like a kid, and with my kids, with an unabashed joy.

A fine rod you've made for your own back by these announcements, Dryw, but hugely welcomed! Coloured Inked Adventure caves have been a long time (not) arriving, except for various odds and ends, but your 3D caverns sound a wonderful alternative especially. And the Castle; fully endorse your decision to go for interiors as well as exteriors. Fold-flat would be nice, but as a modeller more than gamer these days, less essential. Looking good in the photos so far. Best of luck in progressing swiftly!

Hi Guys and Gals,
Just thought I'd check in with actual progress on my continuing project of an Imperfect Fold Flat Castle with interiors. With the prototypes of the fold flat Castle Walls, the fold flat Wall Towers, and the fold flat Gate House finished, I've now done the prototype of the first building for inside the Castle Walls. A simple 4" by 4" cottage, it has an interior and it still folds flat. Then I got energetic and made a second floor with interior, and a connector, and it still folds flat.
Now that the Cottage prototype is done and works as planned, I can start on other buildings using the same principles. Perhaps I'll have a few pictures by the end of the weekend. Things are still Imperfectly rough, and fairly simply textured, but they are progressing when I get a chance (life often conspires against me).
