In one of the hordes mesper shared some Romans with futuristic weapons. I was wondering if there was more to this set? I poked around in his sub forum, and on his rpgnow page but couldn't find any. I would love to build an entire army around these minis. Thanks Cadia I sent a PM to mespers, but he has not responded yet.

IIRC, they were designed for a specifically-themed hoard. It's definitely outside of his regular stuff, which is primarily historical with a little fantasy added-in. He's a commercial publisher, so unless there would be big demand for them (unlikely), you'll have to rekindle his interest. He'll find some spare time to make them if he's passionate about them. Otherwise, you might have to wait for another themed hoard... But, since they are in a hoard and you are free to modify as long as you share, why don't you have a go?

Glad that you like these figurines:) (as for replying - sorry, wasn't visiting forums during last days - we are celebrating "The Day Of All Dead" here, which has long Slavic pre-Christian era tradition) Back to "Modern Romans" Actually I'cant even find mentioned files at forums ... seems like corresponding thread is missing or deleted... These minis are included in "May 2012" Hoard, right? This hoard main theme is World War Weird
BTW: squirmydad - I think that it would be good idea to add hoard's tittle/main theme to each hoard thread - would definitely help searching through hoards
So I have just a couple of old graphics "leftovers" remaining: Here's final file (PNG) with some additional B-side shields: As you can see there was couple ideas and versions: different weapon and weapon hold, various visors and aiming, helmet crests, different (classic Roman) shields, then no cloak version and colour modifications. I could use and additionally rearrange/mod these figurines but still there would be some more poses/characters needed to build decent set. Anyway, can't promise but I'll think about this:)
Of course, just as WackyAnne stated, feel free to modify Hoard's figurine.

well to help encourage you, I need some with smaller, rifles, and some with a shield(scutum) and techno sword. Some gladiators with the same clean techo look would make great skirmishers too. My skills, I am afraid are lacking.

There used to be an excel spreadsheet to help search the hoard, but I can't find it. (I am very sleepy)
