Are there any GSD files for the Silhouette Cameo or has anyone made any themselves that they can share for any of the free models on the downloads section?
Thank you.

I don't have a Cutter my self but I seem to remember a friend finding how to convert PNGs to cut files on youtube. Maybe the same can be done with the pdf's? Just a thought, I don't really know enough about robo cutters yet though so it may not be something that is easily done.

wisdomknight - what models in particular are you looking for? I would be willing to make up a couple cutfiles to help out the community at large. Don't have a ton of free time myself, so I can't go doing 'em all...

Hey Anne, I didnt see anything there.
BTW the cutter is great, I just wish I can figure out my problem why its cutting twice.
But other than that, I got mine to make my own 3d terrain, vehicles etc. Im a 3d modeler/texture artist so 3d paper terrain will be a breeze. So Im hoping to recoup some of the investment by offering some cool products on RPGNow in the near future.
BTW the Bones II miniatures do look great! I love Reaper minis, I wish I had all the Deadlands minis they make!

Tabletop gaming is a fairly recent hobby for me, so Bones will be my first foray into painting minis. I've admired their sculpts, but papercraft has been the best value artistically and economically so far. I've got a dozen or so Pathfinder minis (mostly goblins) and maybe a couple dozen bargain HeroClix, but I've many more paper minis. It's wonderful to see and speak with the artists, especially when you can make requests and have other input. That kind of flexibility is nigh impossible for molded minis. I'd love the cutter to speed up my mini-making, and it'd be great for especially intricate minis and terrain (like One Monk's Halloween Props tree, just about any mini casting a spell, etc....)
Looking forward to your upcoming contributions!

BTW the cutter is great, I just wish I can figure out my problem why its cutting twice. The cutfiles get saved with whatever preferences the person used when they created it. I, for example, set my cutfiles to double-cut everything, every time. I set my blade depth to 3, and I usually cut at speed 7 - 10 with max pressure. You can change any of this. When you open the cutfiles in Silhouette Studio, but before you go about cutting, click on the cut settings and untick the 'double cut' setting (or whatever it says - I don't have it in front of me now ) Hopefully that's what's actually happening, and it's one less problem for you!

Oh, alternatively, it's totally possible (I've done it before) that you've managed to duplicate the cutlines, and you've really got two sets of cutlines stacked on top of each other. I believe some combination of the ctrl, shift and or alt keys while clicking will do that. So, if it's not the explicit double-cut setting that's getting you, select one of your cutlines and delete it and see if another one was lurking in the same spot. If not, undo, and scratch your head a while longer wondering what's going on...

I have some plastic minis and some paits, and even watched some videos on paiting them...but I just dont have the time to paint enough to make it worthwhile and useful in my RPG sessions. Hence my entry into the papercraft hobby.

The Crypt Worm on the Downloads page has been updated with cutting files. I didn't do inside the mouth because of the way that section goes together I thought it would make it too flimsy. I forgot that I made this two years ago...

Great work Mproteau! And thanks for updating the files Squirmydad!
I had a successful Silhouette Studio session yesterday, and I think I will be able to help do some as well.
I'll probably take on some of the minis like the Deep Ones first.

Dibs on the Gladiators, the Fey Princess, the Samurai and the Sargeant Major Sci-Fi Troopers. I've got the cutfiles ready to go for them and the crypt, but I like to test the cuts before I go publishing things, just to make sure I didn't make a silly mistake (which I often do!).
