Quest is in fact quite a good game. I played a few demos and intro games on several conventions. However, due to the myriads of modules and expansions, it also seems to be quite a money-sink. I personally only own the two-character-intro-adventure Pegasus gives away for free, and I won't buy anything of the game because I have other games that I collect and neither the money nor the space to entertain yet another one. The rules of Quest are quite simple and it is fun to play, but as already said, it's extremely expansive and if you want to collect all of it, you might want to invest into a new Billy shelf from Ikea as well...

Thank you very much, "shep". I already have a lot of Billy ( or Billies ) in the attic. I love old boardgames, I love German bordgames. I've already some of them. For someone I have multiple copies. " Das Schwarze Auge" and its expansions ( " Dorf Des Graugens" ... ), " Die Legende Des Sagor", " Die Schlacht Der Dinosaurier" ... The last one I got was " Die Legenden von Andor" ( I have this only in Italian edition, "Le Leggende di Andor", but I'm already regretting, as for "Battles of Westeros" and many other games ... Italian publishers are pirates who have no respect for buyers and gamers. After the initial release they do not publish expansions or otherwise if they are not sure they can get a very big lot of money ... ) But of all the German games I've listed above I also have English and/or Italian versions ( not for "Die Schlacht Der Dinosaurier". There is only the original version for this ). Ny problem about "Quest: Zeit der Helden" is this. In English there is only basic game ( I can read and understand English. slowly but I can ). Then there are many expansions and mini-expansions ( I'm very happy for this ) but nothing in English. And unfortunately I don't understand German language. If the text is very much ( and I suppose this is so because this is an adventures based game ) becomes a nightmare for me to try to translate it. However, I now take the English version then I come to think. Thank you again.

Today I received this boardgame from Amazon.com ( USA ). Its normal price is 39.99 U.S. Dollars, but Amazon.com sells it for $ 13.99. A real bargain considering the game components' high quality and the fun and "fast" game rules ( I started reading them an hour ago. And the first impression is entirely positive ). Besides, I was lucky. I had chosen the fast shipment ( in two days ) at a cost of about $ 50 ( along with other items ). The package was supposed to arrive last friday, but due to delays it arrived just today. Amazon.com saturday sent to me an e-mail, apologizing and returning the entire shipping cost. So it proves to be a serious seller, as always ( at least for me ), unlike those Italians ( I've written several days to three of them to ask questions about their products. As I was willing to purchase. After a week, none of them has yet to respond to me. Probably they are already too rich ) But back to "Quest: A Time of Heroes" ( englis edition - Z-man Games ) There are many game components. All of excellent quality. One 36-page clear and colorful rules booklet One 88-pages adventure booklet with 5 adventures A map, 120 cards, 4 hero sheets, 3 Quest Master sheets, 25 coins, 12 terrain elements, 2 ten-sided dice, a non-permanent pen and 18 cardboard miniatures with plastic bases very good paper minis, great artworks, but sadly they don't have back art . They are only mirrored ( but there is a workaround for all. ) As mentioned, so, at first glance, it seems like a good game that is worth much more than the Amazon's price. In a few days, after trying it, I tell you my opinion about its gameplay.
