Does anyone know if Matte Photo Sticker Paper exists? I was just thinking that it would be great to print on and then go straight to the automatic cutter, possibly without having to use a carrier sheet. And then being sticker backed, you would't have to use glue to adhere the front and backsides together. Anyone know of or try any sticker paper with the weight and quality of Matte Photo Paper?

I have matte sticker paper but it equates to only about 80gsm unstuck, great for tiles etc but a little thin for miniatures even front/backed. You can get thicker glossy/matte sticker sheet the pro's use but I'm not sure if a regular inkjet can print to it so I've never tried sourcing any. With the cutter it tends to cut right through the front paper and the backing, If it was thicker you could probably cut it without cutting through the backing. If you have a look at a commercial sticker supplier/producer a lot of them can do Custom stickers cut to an irregular shape, probably wouldn't be to hard for them to knock something out if you could handle the volume requirements eg; pretty sure someone who visits/is on the boards already does this with there mini line (or something very close ).

Not having a cutter sheet is like trying to cut models out using only one hand. You need it to hold things in place.

You could thicken up the thinner stickers by putting scrap paper between the two halves when you stick them together.

You could thicken up the thinner stickers by putting scrap paper between the two halves when you stick them together. I thought about that, but then I'd still be stuck cutting them out by hand. So far my searches have brought up zilch. I guess what I was hoping for was sticker paper with matte photo paper quality and thickness, and a release/backer sheet that is thick enough to be used as a carrier sheet. This would let me skip all the spray adhesive that I use on cardstock for carriers and when I glue the cut out pieces back to back. Outside our hobby, there may be little use for such a product... But I'll keep looking.

you could cut the 80gsm sticker sheet with the cutter as per normal, then cut a fresh page on plain 180gsm card using the cutter giving a precut shaped spacer (just cut a half mini). Stick one sticker to one side of the spacer and the other to the back, this would give you an approximately normal thickness mini. Would be a little fiddly but probably no worse than spraying spray glue all around the place...totally with you on that stuff the over-spray gets everywhere over time.
I might give that a try myself....
