I've mentioned before that I'm working towards a Police vs Scary Aliens and their Scary Robots scenario and while I've found some really great buildings by Tommygun & etc as well as cars and vehicles by Grendel's Mother and a whole lot of other terrific stuff I've just realised I haven't been able to find any roadway and pavement type artwork pieces which will be very much needed to make my plots and schemes a success. The urban landscape I will be creating could be best described as 'scruffy' so if anyone knows of any suitable 'scruffy' urban roads and pavement sets I would be very grateful if you could point them out to me. An example of the type of landscape I mean......

Have you looked at the Canon kid's playset? It has roadways

wildagreenbough: There are various ground tile sets available that include roadways of different sorts, so it probably depends exactly how critical having asphalt-paved roads and pavements is to you. Cobbled road surfaces still feature in many cities, and even on some major roads outside towns (from experience, in eastern Europe) for instance, so you might try Dave Graffam's tile sets (link is to the bundle package, so you can see more quickly what's on offer there). These have customising layer options so you can add various kinds of grime and debris before printing each page off. Armor Grid have a six-inch hexagonal tile set, again with various customising options which include different "damaged" overlays, and comes with asphalt roadways. Lord Zsezse also do a whole range of ground tiles ( bundle pack link again), which include ashphalt (Set 5) and various cobbled and dirt roads and paths, though I've not seen the full packs of most yet, pending arrival of the works via my Elven Tower KS pledge level. The DramaScape range of tiled maps include roadways of various kinds too, and there are similar products to these by other manufacturers I haven't recalled while typing this. As I say though, it depends exactly how key particular features may be to what you need.

I'd bet that the pre-TLX versions of Mayhem stuff is available out there, too. Or you could already have it? I know I have and never bought it. It probably came on the humanitarian relief bundles, or in a Halloween "find the products" promotion on RPGNow.

Much of WWGs pre-TLX stuff is available for sale at Paizo.com. Look it over carefully, though, as some things like Hinterlands are in two sets, and others, like the minis, are much more expensive @ WWGs own site.
As for other modern streets, there are several options. I believe Warm Acre has some, and another contemporary mostly battlemap maker whose name escapes me at the moment. I'll have to get back to you when I'm at my computer next. My laptop needs a new screen. ;(

With your poor laptop it's a pity that you don't live closer to me because I'm a dab hand at changing over laptop screens.

My husband's a computer and network technician, so that part wouldn't be the issue (though thanks!). I'm going to have to put up with it for a while tho.
Warm Acre has has interesting British emergency vehicles and buildings - but you may notice I pointed you to Wargame Vault, since they have ore stuff on there than on RPGNow.
