That one chapel looks almost like one of them over at Edificios de Papel. Yep! By reading about the two chapels, they have about 100 years of difference (late 1500 the hispanic one, 1700 the one in La Scola). Very good eye, my friend

Do you have another photo of the front of that chapel? That almost looks like you could photoshop the front of that chapel onto this model and have a very good representation of it.

I live in a little village in the northest Italy, Trentino, called Sarnonico. It is depicted on the left in this picture; the bell tower is actually the one of 'my' church. By the way, how many other italian people are there? I know Parduz... but some other?

Northern Italy, though it looks nothing like home, felt like home. It's beautiful and the people were wonderful. That all can be different now, but I doubt it. I don't believe we traveled to your village, but it looks like a place I would like to visit sometime.

Isn't it amazing how the rest of the world lumps Italian food as a category, but each region of Italy has its own cuisine.
I think that goes for everywhere, though.

True. There's big differences in traditional recipes, 'cause not everything was available for everyone (as example, my region is fond on pork fat 'cause olive oil was a Tuscany or Liguria stuff), but modern (and healthy) recipes can be categorized as "Italian cucuisine": I'm not an expert but I see a use of the raw ingredients that is different from other countries.

Italian cuisine to me is more a common denominator than a regoinal matter. As I see it, Italian cuisine is an attitude that implies simplicity - only a ingredients (fresh and of good quality) are used, and each of them plays a leading part in the meal. There are regional differences, but as Parsuz writes, it's the use of ingredients that makes it distinct.

sorry, I mean "Rhannon"... I know you are italian ;-) You, sir, live in one of my favorite places in Europe ... I don't believe we traveled to your village, but it looks like a place I would like to visit sometime. Yes, it's a very beautiful place... with some "dark sides", but great landscapes. I would love to do some trip around the world... Great Britain, New Zealand ( I LOVE L.O.T.R. !!!) , Japan... hope somewhere in the future.. If you came to Italy, let me know, you're welcome!!!
