Today I have a problem regarding painting or chiaroscuro. On my site in this post I'm presenting two variants approach to the subject. Please tell me which will be better? I note that I would like to achieve clear figurines at printing. Also I do not want the artificial effect. So what do you think?

For me, the left-hand image of the armoured vampire looks better, but the right-hand image of the skeleton seems to work better for that figure.

Do somebody knows useful source about painting of comics? A simple Internet search for "painting comics" will bring up more hits than you could possibly want/need. It really depends what you mean by "useful", since there are as many styles and processes involved as there are artists working in the field. Just taking a look at some of the tutorials and guidance materials available online should help you refine your search for whatever style and media you're intending to use, however - even if that only shows nothing suitable!
