Okay, so one Palladium fan as made an inquiry as to whether or not I'd be doing armies, so I thought I'd put it to you guys. I have plenty of solder-type minis in my sets already, and my next set will have two marines for each of five different branches of the Bizantium Military. Thus far all of my minis have been unique in each of my sets, but it wouldn't take too much effort to take each of the 10 individual minis from that set, and do five variations of each, making five sets of 10 men in matching armor and different poses/weapons. So for example, the first two marines are wearing this armor: And the third and fourth are wearing this armor: With the expansion, the first ten minis would have the same armor as the first two above, the second ten would be wearing the same armor as the third and fourth guys above, etc, etc. 10 minis, with five variations each. Is that something you guys would buy? EDIT: lol, that's what I get for composing a post before going to bed and not checking it first. Second image updated. Basically it would be 10 different minis (poses, faces, body shapes) but with five variations on each (armor/uniform appearance), for 50 different minis in a package.

My best sellers on OBS are the army groups, so apparently people like quantity. The question that comes up repeatedly is that if you only have one army, who do they fight? Be prepared to make two armies.

Well, I'm essentially talking about 5 armies with 10 different soldiers here.. Two with Tridents, two with spears, two with axes, two with swords and two with bows.. Shown below the complete variety of troops with two each of the different uniforms/armors. In the base Bizantium Marines set there will be two more of the men in red with bows, as removable riders for the two Pegasus that will be included.

One minor quibble - the archers have their arrows on the wrong side of the bow (And yes, I've seen the Lars Anderson videos, but he's a trick shooter, shooting at very close targets - even the shortbows that those fellows are using would be designed for 120 yards at least. You need accuracy at that distance, and holding it on the wrong side reduces that significantly.)

One can learn to be accurate either way.
