I took a break from my Star Wars figures yesterday and decided to do a few 30mm(ish) minis. This was my first attempt at designing and putting these types of figures together, and keep in mind that I'm not a gamer, just an artist, but I wanted to show you guys to see what you thought. I tried to pick a genre that (maybe?) hasn't been done a ton -- gritty retro Sci-Fi. I never realized how small these guys were! I'm used to working in 1:48 scale. A close-up of the fearless astronaut, and the reverse: I haven't done a reverse for the 2-headed (1 1/2 headed now) alien yet, but what do you guys think? Could there be a market for something like this?

The original art -- I didn't realize how much detail I would lose. Is 28-30mm pretty much the standard?

28 mm or 30 mm from base of foot to eye-line is pretty much standard
