Figured I'd start a thread for some pics of my builds for GunCrawl and my outdoor house rules for GunCrawl!
I decided to make Topos IKUBE a little more interesting, I actually glued the model together as I don't plan on folding it flat but I added the rooftop AC unit from WWG Armoury Set and the Helios Solar Generator from Genet Models Fromtier Farmstead. I also added a magnet and washer to the Helios Generator to make it rotatable!
Here are some pics:
Here is my second one, I just added a window AC unit to this one from WWG Armoury set!

Topo's Chickenhawk with magnetic flight base and magnets in the thrusters so they rotate (it also has its landing gear installed on the bottom)! I'll be giving it a couple weapons under the wings at some point too!

Just got the tiles mounted on some Foamcore board, they are WWG Streets of Legend tiles! The game area is 38"x25" (had to flesh out the edges as much as I could since the Foamcore board is kinda an odd ball size, lol!

A few more pics for the night! The game board is really starting to come together! I built 5 of tommygun's containers, a shed, a couple boxes, ammo box, and a generator all Mel's models, and then an ice chest from WWG set.

Ok got a little bit more done today while watching We Were Soldiers again on my iPad Hahahaha!
I built a Medium FUSS unit from Mel's models, some computer systems from WWG Titan set to go with it, Mel's 4x4 with magnetic machine gun turret, another container from tommygun, some odds and ends from some WWG sets like vending machines, newspaper machine, and signs. Also a couple more boxes from Mel's sets and some Onemonk Terra Force minis!

Thanks Vermin King!
I actually just got done printing out the GunCrawl Rulebook a little bit ago and Laminating all the Cards, Tokens, and Game Aids and cut them all out. Now I just need to get some Flame Markers cut out and some Skelebots or Hybrids cut out and I should be good to start gaming!

Got a bit done for GunCrawl these past couple days! All the tokens (minus the flame markers) are done and laminated, all the cards are laminated, and I got a bunch of doors and tiles made and cut out! Now I just need to laminate/mount the tiles! Also I need to build a hand full more props and I can start playing!
Parduz: good news! ... i mean, bad news but ... they're good 'cause not so bad ... hard time. STAY SAFE

squirmydad: Never thought I'd be happy to hear about a case of bronchitis. Get better.

Vermin King: Not Covid-19, but sinusitis and bronchitis. prescriptions and instructions to stay away from everyone for a week. let them know if I get worse

Vermin King: I still don't think I have it, but been doing run around trying to get in to see someone, somewhere about getting tested. If not The Virus, I still need to figure out what this is and get it knocked out

Vermin King: I wish I hadn't been curious. Hadn't taken my temperature for a few days, and I'm running a slight fever again. I'm so ticked off. I guess tomorrow I will have to do the nurse hotline. Sun on the Beach...

Vermin King: But I had to drop off my electric bill before Monday (an excuse to get out), and saw I still had a full tank of gas. Filled up on 3/11 and after tonight have gone 54.7 miles ...

Vermin King: Since my Location is either Randolph, Sugar Creek, Four miles SW of Sugar Creek, or Raytown, I wonder if I'm being shown as ignoring the order. As with all stats, you have to take them with a grain of salt

Vermin King: I see that Stay-at-Home is only about 45% effective in the US. That is 45% of folks with cell phones are staying put. Big Brother is tracking cell phone GPS. And why not?

Vermin King: I keep getting a server error when I try to get the rules. I'll have to try some other time

marcpasquin: After Goscinny died, people thought it would be the end of Asterix as he was the writing part of the team but Uderzo managed to keep it going and eventually pass on the torch to new teams that still produce albums to this day.

marcpasquin: Asterix was such a big part of my childhood. Not only did I read all the albums but every years the cartoon movies were part of "Ciné-Cadeau", a holiday time programming block on Télé-Québec that showed animated movies for kids.

lightning: I cannot count how often I read Asterix and Obelix as a kid. Loved how it always ended at a big town dinner around a huge bonfire and the troubadour was gagged somewhere so he couldn't sing. Good times!

Parduz: I still love that comics. Some of them (around the middle age of Asterix production) have some of the best story/dialogues/jokes ever.
Mar 24, 2020 11:31:07 GMT -9
squirmydad: God I LOVED those books as a child. Sorry to see him pass.
